The episode begins with Lakshmi telling Veda, “I’m not your mother.” Shocked, Veda faints on the spot. A worried Lakshmi tries to revive her. Just then, Raghuveer arrives and is alarmed to see Veda unconscious. He quickly calls the doctor and questions Lakshmi about what happened. Lakshmi confesses, “I told her I’m not her mother.” Raghuveer scolds her and says, “If anything happens to my daughter, I will never forgive you.”
Elsewhere, Sanjana notices a lock on the ghee box and asks Nidhi who locked it. Nidhi replies that Jia has locked all the expensive items. Sanjana taunts Jia and is about to break the lock when Jia arrives and stops her. Sanjana says, “You have no right here, and your dream of becoming Karthik’s wife will never come true. Lakshmi will return.” She breaks the lock and insults Jia, who silently vows to teach her a lesson once she marries Karthik.
The doctor checks Veda and advises Raghuveer not to stress her, as her heart is weak. He warns that extreme caution is required until her heart transplant surgery is completed. Lakshmi overhears the conversation. After the doctor leaves, Raghuveer tells Lakshmi to leave if she wants to go to Karthik. Lakshmi confronts him, accusing him of being responsible for Veda’s condition and emotionally blackmailing her.
She then demands an explanation for the photos of her in his room. Raghuveer asks if she entered his room, and she confirms it. “Why do you have my photos? Why did you edit them? I never imagined you would think of me this way,” she says, calling him a “low-level” person. Raghuveer pleads with her to listen, but she continues insulting him. Enraged, Raghuveer shouts at her to stop and drags her to his room to show her the truth.
He points to the photos and says, “These aren’t edited. This is Antara—my wife and Veda’s mother. She looks exactly like you.” Lakshmi is stunned and asks how that could be possible. Raghuveer shows her a video of Antara playing with Veda. “You mistook the photos, just like my daughter mistook you for her mother,” he explains. “When I first saw you, I was shocked. I didn’t want to take Karthik’s case because I didn’t want to see you again, but your pain moved me. That’s why I helped you win—as a friend.”
He continues, “I never intended to contact you again. I only wanted you to live happily with Karthik. Veda saw you at the mela and insisted I bring her mother home. When I scolded her, she fainted. At the hospital, we found you in a coma. No one from your family visited, and the doctor said your survival chances were low. That’s why I brought you home—as a friend. I never looked at you with bad intentions. After Antara, the only person who matters to me is my daughter. She is my responsibility. You’re free to go to Karthik.”
Meanwhile, the police arrive at Karthik’s house. Jia asks them why they’re there. The inspector replies, “We’ve found a woman being treated in a hospital after an accident. There’s a chance it could be Lakshmi.” Jia introduces herself as Karthik’s fiancée and asks for details. After the police leave, Jia realizes Lakshmi is alive but lies to Karthik, saying, “The police have closed Lakshmi’s case.” Karthik, heartbroken, leaves to search for Lakshmi on his own. Jia convinces herself that the woman can’t be Lakshmi and that Lakshmi must be dead.
Later, Veda asks Lakshmi, “Are you going to leave? You said something before, but I fell asleep.” Raghuveer asks if she remembers anything, and Veda says no. She then asks Lakshmi, “Will you leave me again?” Lakshmi feels torn and remains silent.
