The episode starts with Karthik confronting Gayatri, asking if what was shown in the video is true. Gayatri remains silent. She then pleads with Karthik to give her a chance to explain, but he refuses and walks away. Jia watches everything from a distance, disguised.
Gayatri turns to Lakshmi and accuses her of being satisfied now that she has successfully separated her from her son. Lakshmi denies any involvement and says she doesn’t know who made the video using her voice. Gayatri raises her hand to slap Lakshmi, but Umesh stops her. Both Umesh and Sanjana ask Gayatri to stop blaming Lakshmi and tell her that if Karthik is drifting away, it’s her own fault. Umesh warns Gayatri that he won’t forgive her if anything happens to Karthik. Gayatri breaks down in tears.
Karthik calls Jia and asks to meet her. Meanwhile, Lakshmi worries about why Karthik isn’t answering her calls. Karthik meets Jia and questions whether what his mother did was true. Jia confirms and says, “Yes, your mom and my mom separated us. I still love you.” She pretends to be innocent. Karthik walks away in silence. Jia smirks, thinking her masterstroke has worked.
Lakshmi tracks Karthik’s location and sees him leaving Jia’s house. She gets out of the car and urges him to come with her as a storm is about to hit. Karthik says the storm has already arrived—his mother has played with his emotions. Lakshmi asks him to understand why his mother did it. Karthik accuses her of knowing everything and yet staying silent, and now publicly exposing the truth. Lakshmi insists she didn’t do it. Karthik says, “Everything shown in the video is true, right? You hid it from me too. You played with my feelings and caused me pain.” Lakshmi replies, “I wanted to speak to your mother before telling you everything.” Karthik refuses to believe her and says he can’t trust anyone anymore. Lakshmi pleads with him to listen, but he drives away. Jia watches from a distance with a smirk.
Lakshmi confronts Jia, who smugly tells her that Karthik is hurt and now understands their past. She says, “You can’t come between us anymore.” Lakshmi replies, “You’re only telling half the truth. I know you didn’t leave Karthik just because of Gayatri. I know your real face. I’ll uncover the full truth, and I know you created that video using my voice.” Jia says, “Karthik now knows the truth and will come back to me. The real culprit is Gayatri.” She leaves. Lakshmi thinks she must console Karthik before Jia manipulates him further.
Karthik returns home and sees photos of him and Gayatri decorated on the wall. He rips them apart. Gayatri approaches him and begs him to listen, but he refuses. She tries to explain why she kept the truth from him. Karthik accuses her of controlling his life and making him lose the love of his life. Gayatri pleads, but Karthik yells, “I’m not your son. You treated me like a robot!” The family watches in shock as Karthik starts dancing and mocks Gayatri, saying he’s dancing to her tunes. Lakshmi and Gayatri try to stop him, but he refuses to listen. He questions Gayatri’s love and says, “You’re not my mom. My mother died today.”
Lakshmi tries to intervene, but Karthik storms out. Gayatri is left in shock. Umesh scolds Gayatri and leaves. Nidhi questions if Gayatri manipulated her as well. Sanjana also rebukes her. Everyone exits the hall, leaving Gayatri in tears. Lakshmi offers her water and tries to calm her down. Gayatri pushes her away and accuses her of stealing her son. Lakshmi says, “I only wanted to talk to you to understand the truth. I never meant to hurt anyone.”
Gayatri picks up a piece of broken glass and holds it to Lakshmi’s neck, refusing to believe her. She insults Lakshmi, who finally pushes her away and asks her to stop blaming her for everything. Gayatri says, “I wanted a simple girl for my son. I was misled by your face. If Karthik goes away from me, I won’t spare anyone.” She walks away barefoot over the broken glass, leaving Lakshmi shocked.
