The episode starts with Shekhar doubting Nishant’s decision of letting Mohana stay in the house. Ansh also has the same doubt but Piya assures him that it’s good Mohana is here and they can keep an eye on her but still both Shekhar and Ansh are not convinced. Mohana is searching for another Dayan in the house and can feel its presence. The family comes together to perform Diwali pooja in the house. Naman visits Choti Pailwan for hold jewellery and finds the whole place made of gold. He happily wears those jewelleries. Adi and Pari invite Mohana for the celebration but she denies.
Ansh and Piya comes with the family and they all happily celebrate Diwali. Piya explains the importance of Diwali to her kids and they all light diyas. Ansh lights Diya with Piya and they both share a romantic eyelock. Later they burst crackers with the kids. They all leave to perform pooja while Mohana is still searching for the Dayan. Adi calls her for pooja but she says she can’t come. They taunt her and she gets irked.
She hears someone saying Dayan mantra and finds it weird. Suddenly all the diyas goes off and the family blames Mohana for it. Naman sees a dwarf and recognizes him as choti Pailwan and mocks him. He keeps throwing insult on him while he turns him into a golden statue.
The family decides to question Mohana and finds her missing. They all leaves to search for her but Chaitali decides to light atleast the entrance of Diya and goes. She lights the Diya and finds someone in neighbourhood.
She decides to wish them happy Diwali and visits them. Mohana finds a black smoke and is about to follow it but Pari holds her. They blame her for the happenings but Mohana denies it and says that she’s not responsible for it. She says that she did come to the house for a reason but its not to trouble them but to find out about the new Dayan.
Chaitali finds no one in the house and starts leaving but soon finds herself as Dayan in the mirror and gets shocked. She’s about to run away when she finds a new Dayan on the swing and gets shocked. Piya and Ansh supports Mohana saying that they did see the Dayan which helped Dev to capture Piya and it stayed with Dev in the nearby place. The Dayan’s face is revealed to be Vedashree and Chaitali gets shocked seeing it. However the Dayan reveals that she’s not Vedashree but her twin sister. She says even she got to know it only recently from her mother Pratimayan. Chaitali tries running away with the excuse of informing it to Vedashree but the new Dayan stops her. It says that when she doesn’t like her own mother’s presence will she like her presence. She says that she’s here for Vedashree and to take her to the wrong path. She says if they both gets united then no one can stop them and they’ll become more powerful.
The family visits the neighbourhood and finds none but only Chaitali. The real Chaitali is with the new Dayan while it’s the Dayan Chaitali.
