The episode starts with Abhir saying to Moushmi that it’s not Neerja, but he is asking questions. Kaushik warns Abhir not to blame his wife. Bijoy also asks Abhir not to make an issue of it. However, Abhir claims that someone from this family wants to harm Neerja. He says that Neerja will fulfill all the rituals. Neerja tries to calm Abhir down. Neerja says that she says that she is doing all the rituals as Abhir wanted her to do them, but they will have meaning to her only when the family accepts her.
Neerja takes the touch feet of Bijoy and Moushmi despite them not blessing them. Neerja says that she will face any challenges and will give any test, becoming the daughter-in-law of the family. Moushmi refuses to take part in Neerja’s post-wedding ceremony. She is about to leave, but Abhir stops Moushmi. The latter asks Abhir about daring to order her. Abhir says that he only want her support. Bijoy asks if it’s not enough to let that girl stay in this house. Abhir asks Bijoy to address Neerja with her name and asks her family members to respect her.
Munmun criticizes Neerja for being from Sonagachi. Abhir says that it was Neerja’s past and now Neerja is recognized by their family’s name, like Munmun, which the latter refuses to accept. Neerja requests Abhir to do as the elders of the family want. At Sonagachi, Didun sees a girl sending the customer back by saying that they’re closed today. Didun threatens her and asks her to work. Just then, Chakri arrives and asks Didun about Sharmili, who is missing. Didun remembers Sharmili seeing her killing Protima.
Didun says that Sharmili must be crying about Protima’s death, sitting in a corner. Didun asks Chakri to get back to work. Shabhorani also asks Didun about Sharmili being missing. Didun asks Shobhorani to stop eating her mind and asks her to go and find out some new gossip. Shobhorani leaves. Here, Munmun taunts Neerja about having a new relationship every day in Sonagachi. Neerja kindly explains to Munmun that Prothima and her were forced to stay in Sonagachi. She says that she sees her sister in Munmun and a mom in Moushmi.
Abhir gives a piece of white cloth to Neerja and puts a sweet into it. He vows to protect and take care of Neerja. He wipes a teardrop from Neerja’s eyes and says she’s this family’s daughter-in-law hereafter. Munmun complains to Kaushik about never taking care of her like Abhir cares for Neerja. The latter also promises Abhir to never disappoint him or his family. Munmun asks Neerja to stop her drama and complete the ritual by touching Abhir’s feet. Abhir stops Neerja from touching his feet. Bappa gets inspired by Abhir to treat his wife as Abhir treats Neerja. Munmun scolds Bappa, saying that even our enemy should get a marriage life like Abhir. Abhir clicks pictures of Abhir and Neerja. Munmun says that thr family members should feed Neerja sweet to finish the ritual.
Didun goes to see Sharmili whom she kept captive in a room with her man. Sharmili looks scared at seeing Didun. The latter’s man asks Didun what she’s going to do with Sharmili, if she’s going to kill her. Sharmili says that she knows what to do with her. Here, Abhir feeds Neerja sweet on the behalf of his family members.
Suddenly, Trisha comes in front of Neerja and says that shr hates Neerja and wants to kill her. Abhir stands ik front of Neerja to protect her. Trisha says that they all might have thought that she will say this, but it’s not the case. Abhir apologizes to Trisha. Trisha lies that she is happy for them. She walks away and thinks of winning Abhir back and forcing Neerja to leave the house.
