The episode starts with Surya asking Anu about the necklace. He says that she liked the design of the necklace he bought for her, so she got the similar one. Anu tries to explain him, but their conversation is interrupted by Meera’s arrival. Meera tells Surya there’s a meeting and explains him its agenda. Surya asks Anu to visit the buildings related to Devanandhini saree fabrics when she gets time. Anu nods ok. Meera takes the cordless phone to call Shankaran. While putting back the phone, she intentionally throws the glass of water over Surya to spoil his dress. Anu watches it and gets shocked. Meera says sorry to Surya and cleans the water with tissue papers. She phones FM and asks to bring new clothes for Surya. Anu feels bad and leaves from there.
Meera recalls Pankaj’s words and feels bad. She phones Ragupathi. She seeks his help. She asks him to keep an eye on Anu and collect proofs and he has to share those proofs only with her. She agrees to return his favor in correct time. Ragupathi agrees. Meera asks him to think about getting Anu married to Sambath. Ragupathi says that he can’t do anything for now and assures her that he will do her work correctly.
Anu is on the way to her home. The mentally unstable beggar suddenly comes in front of her. Anu gets scared. He says that she’s repeating the same mistake again and again, and scolds her. He adds that he keeps talking about trust, but he’s a fraud and betrays those who trust him. Anu understands that he’s talking about Surya. Anu starts running from there and he chases her. Suddenly a car comes and stops in front of her. Surya gets out of the car. He gets worried on seeing a scared Anu. He asks her what she’s doing at this time here. Anu says that the mentally unstable beggar is chasing her. When Surya sees behind her there’s no one. Surya says he will drop her at home and asks her to get into the car.
Anu shares with Surya about what that beggar has told her about him. Surya laughs and says that it’s common that some people badmouth him and she shouldn’t take it seriously. Surya consoles her and then they have a talk. Surya drops Anu near her area.
Sharda asks Chandra about Surya. She asks whether he’s still upset. Chandra says that he is fine now and he even participated in Ethnic day celebration. Sharda says but Surya told he’s not going to the office. Chandra tells that Anu had gone to call him, so he had come, and they had lot of fun. Sharda gets glad. Mansi says that it’s tough to understand Surya. Just then Surya comes there. He says that he has a surprise gift for Chandra and Mansi, and asks them to guess. They say few things name, but Surya says no. They give up and asks him to tell. He shows the coffee mug that ressembles to the one Mansi gifted Chandra. Mansi and Chandra are surprised on seeing it.
