The episode starts with Sharda calling out Anu. Sharda says that first she couldn’t recognize her immediately because of her clothes. Anu looks down upset. Sharda compliments her and says that his boss got due to some know reason. Anu bursts out crying. Sharda hugs her to ccomfort her. She wipes her tears and asks not to cry on her special day. She’s Devanandhi sarees head, she’s going to handle big responsibilities and asks to face any problems with courage.
She adds that she has complete trust that she will be able to manage her responsibility and advises her not to compromise her self respect. Anu takes her blessings. Sharda says that she wanted to give her a gift, but she got a big gift by meeting her in the office. Anu says that Surya hasn’t informed that today is his birthday and wishes Sharda.
Surya furiously storms into his cabin. Meera tries to calm him down. Surya questions what’s the need for Anu to wear such dress for an important board meeting. He shouts. Meera says that Sharda has come back to office after longtime, and his behavior may upset her. Surya leaves from there followed by Meera.
Subu phones Pushba and enquires about Anu and her meeting. He asks Pushba to phone Anu and knows what happened in the meeting. Pushba calls Anu, but she doesn’t answer her calls. Pushba gets angry. Poorni says that Anu must be busy in the meeting so that she couldn’t answer her calls. Subu phones Pushba again to know if she talked to Anu. Pushba scolds him and cuts the call.
Surya asks Sharda to cut Devanandhi’s saree’s head’s new cabin. Sharda asks Anu if she wants to say something to her boss. Seeing Anu hesitating, Sharda encourages her to speak. Anu says to Surya that she doesn’t want any separate cabin, she prefers to work sitting with other in her previous cabin. Surya doesn’t look towards Anu and harshly tells Pankaj that this is just for a formality, so she can work sitting wherever she wants.
Anu thanks Surya, but he doesn’t respond. Sharda cut the ribbon to open the new cabin while all claps. She tells Anu that she can work sitting in any place that she wants and she doesn’t need anyone’s permission for that since she’s giving her the full liberty. Anu thanks her. Pankaj stops Surya asking he doesn’t say anything. Surya harshly says that mom told everything. Sharda wishes to see Surya’s cabin.
Sharda likes Surya’s cabin design and asks whose idea it’s. Pankaj says that was Meera’s idea and praises her. Surya is silent lost in his thoughts. Otherside Anu is waiting outside Surya’s cabin. She says that she needs to talk to Surya, but he’s angry with her and wonders how to convince him. Sharda gets ready to leave. She sees Anu and wishes her all the best and asks her to come home one day. Anu thanks Sharda. She leaves with Pankaj. Meera scolds Anu and says that she should call Sharda as mam and not maa. She walks away. Anu stands there looking at Surya’s cabin door. She’s scared to face Surya.
