In addition to topping the TRP charts and becoming involved in various controversies, the show has emerged as one of the most talked-about on the internet.
The show has been making headlines since Raj Anadkat, who joined the show in 2017 announced his exit from the show after being associated with it for five years.
According to a report in a leading news portal, the makers have found their new Tapu in Nitish Bhaluni. Nitish Bhaluni has previously acted in Meri Doli Mere Angna on Azaad Channel.
Nitish has already started shooting for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
The show previously made headlines when Shailesh Lodha, who played Taarak, abruptly left the show without officially notifying the producers. Later, it was revealed that the producers had not paid their pending dues.
