Pandian Stores is a popular Tamil language drama that airs on Star Vijay and streams on Disney + Hotstar.
Due to its popularity, it was remade in several languages. The story mainly focused on the unity of a joint family after the entry of new daughters-in-law, Meena and Mulla.
Sathyamoorthy lives happily along with his brothers Jeeva, Kathir, and Kannan and his caring wife Dhanalakshmi. They run a grocery store named Pandian stores which is famous in their locality. Dhanam is often criticized by her relatives for not having children repeatedly, although her brothers-in-law did not let it affect her.
Murugan’s daughter Mullai desires to marry Jeeva. Jeeva tells the family that he cannot marry Mullai after seeing Meena. Later, Dhanam decides to get Mullai married to Kathir, the younger brother to Jeeva. Jeeva marries Meena and Kathir, Mullai.
This week this what happen…Kathir slaps a moneylender when he creates a ruckus at Parvathy’s house. Meanwhile Dhanam, Moorthy visit Janardhan to discuss Meena’s baby shower. The moneylender lodges a complaint against Mulla and the family. Later, the police take Mulla and Parvathy into custody. Moorthy pleads with the police officer to release Parvathy and Mulla. Parvathy misunderstands Kathir and rants about his actions.
Moorthy seeks Janardhan’s help to deal with the Kathir police case. He agrees to help but with a condition. Kathir is released. Mulla heaves a sigh of relief. She rushes to see him. She is back home. Mulla and Kathir get into an argument about slapping the moneylender. Dhanam gets emotional about learning the truth. Mulla urges Moorthy to pay off the debts. Dhanam discloses the truth.
