The upcoming drama “Gold Land” tells the story of Kim Hee Joo, a security screening officer at an international airport who accidentally comes into possession of gold bars that ties to an illegal smuggling ring.As she is surrounded by people blinded by greed and betrayal, Hee Joo finds herself in a dangerous battle not just with others but with herself at her growing desire to keep the gold.
Gorgeous and talented actress Park Bo Young takes on the role of Kim Hee Joo, a security screening professional at the international airport whose life takes a dramatic transformation while she is trying to protect the illegal gold bars.
Actor Kim Sung Cheol takes on the role of Jang Wook, a lowly member of a loan shark ring known as Woo Gi.After learning that Hee Joo is in possession of the gold bars that his group is after, he approaches her in the pretext of helping but keeps his true motives hidden.
Actor Lee Hyun Wook plays the role of an airline co-pilot and Hee Joo’s boyfriend Lee Do Kyung.Lee Do Kyung lures Hee Joo into the smuggling scheme and his characterization will keep the viewers guessing on whether he truly loves her or merely using her.
