By Gossips Tv : Actor Parth Samthaan has officially confirmed his exit from the popular crime show CID 2, only a month after joining the cast. He played ACP Ayushmaan, a role that was introduced following the dramatic death of ACP Pradyuman, portrayed by veteran actor Shivaji Satam. With Satam now making a much-anticipated return to the series, Parth has gracefully stepped back, calling his stint on the cult show “an absolute pleasure.”
Parth clarified that his involvement was always intended as a guest appearance. “Even if it’s just for a brief period, being part of a show like CID is a huge honour,” he said. Originally slated for a few episodes, his role was extended slightly due to positive reception. However, with other work commitments calling, the actor will no longer continue with the series.
Grateful for the support from fans, Parth thanked the audience for embracing his short-lived but impactful character. He also hinted at an exciting upcoming twist in the storyline, stating, “With Shivaji Sir’s return, the thrilling twist about the mole will be unfolded very soon.”
Parth was last seen in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and has made a strong impression with his performance in CID 2, leaving fans hopeful to see him again in another gripping role soon.
