The mystery around Poonam Pandey’s alleged death seems to get murkier by the hour. First, her team claimed that the supermodel and erotica actress had succumbed to cervical cancer at the age of 32.
Now Zoom TV claims through a source that Poonam, last seen in Lock UPP, might have died due to a drug overdose.
Since this alleged unfortunate news broke, there has been constant speculation about whether it is a publicity stunt, for there is no public knowledge of the body or an official family statement.
Poonam first came to the limelight when she claimed she would strip naked if team India won the 2011 Cricket World Cup. She then participated in Khatron Ki Khiladi and acted in a few movies.
Her manager had also given out a statement corroborating the cervical death.
What further fueled the rumour was that only a few days back did Poonam look fit and fine. Had she been hit by the Big C, she should have been in a bad state by now.
We tried to contact Poonam’s PR, Parul Chawla, about the OD angle, but we have yet to get a revert.
