The episode starts with Chirag searching for a clue so he can oust Shanaya from the chawl. He thinks, “I can’t see my Prathna’s killer living in the chawl, so please help me, Bappa.” He looks for clues in Prathna’s file.
Bapodhara inspects the tile work in the chawl. He asks the residents not to walk on the tiles that are being fixed and warns that if anyone damages them, he will not spare them. He also tells everyone to inform their family members.
Dilip and Pushpa see Shanaya working in the kitchen. Dilip tells Pushpa that Shanaya has changed a lot and is doing great work. Pushpa says Shanaya changed after her chickenpox. Pushpa calls Shantanu and asks him to come home for dinner, saying she has a special surprise for him. Shantanu feels surprised.
Meanwhile, Rashi is confused about who sent the bouquet to Badshah. She throws it away in frustration.
Shantanu comes to Pushpa’s place and asks what the matter is. Shanaya offers him water. Shantanu is surprised to see his daughter’s transformation. He tells Pushpa that his daughter’s change is shocking to him. He happily has dinner with her, while Pushpa and Dilip feel glad watching them.
The next day, Bapodhara notices footprints on the freshly done cement work. An argument breaks out between Bapodhara and Hasmukh. Pushpa tries to stop them but fails. Bapodhara demands that the person responsible admit their mistake, or he will not let it go. Later, he decides to find the culprit using a “chappal nishani” method.
Meanwhile, Shanaya prepares round rotis and shows them to Pushpa. Pushpa appreciates her, saying that for a first attempt, it’s great and that it’s all due to practice. They happily continue cooking together.
Bapodhara makes an announcement on the microphone, asking everyone to come out immediately wearing their sandals. He says that today he will check and find the culprit.
Chirag, while going through Prathna’s file, sees Shanaya’s photo and becomes suspicious that she lied about her age to escape punishment.
Bapodhara asks Mahindra to check everyone’s sandals and match them with the footprints. Mahindra checks and says that the footprints match Shanaya’s sandals. Shanaya denies going out at night. Bapodhara accuses her, calling her a liar and saying she is an outsider.
Shanaya notices Titli looking at her with guilt and realizes that Titli must have used her sandals. She decides to take the blame. Bapodhara declares that since she made a mistake, she will be ousted from the chawl.
Titli stops him and admits the truth, saying she is the one responsible, not Shanaya. She apologizes and promises not to repeat her mistake. Hasmukh asks Bapodhara what punishment he will give Titli. Ashwin offers to pay for the damages, but Bapodhara says it is not necessary since it was a child’s mistake. Hasmukh and Bapodhara start arguing again, and Pushpa intervenes.
Bapodhara then declares that he wants to oust two people from the chawl—Hasmukh and Shanaya.
Episode ends.
