By Gossips Tv : In a bold programming shakeup, Dangal TV is all set to revamp its prime-time lineup by pulling the plug on three of its ongoing shows — Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, and Gehna. The move comes amidst stiff competition from rival free-to-air channels like Star Utsav, Sony Pal, Zee Anmol, and Colors Rishtey.
We had earlier reported that Gehna was heading toward its conclusion, but the show had managed to secure a brief extension, confirmed by lead actor Paras Arora. However, sources now reveal the final episode will air on 21st June 2025*.
Meanwhile, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, despite being positioned in the prime-time slot, failed to garner substantial viewership. The makers have reportedly been served a notice, and the show will conclude sometime in July.
Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, which launched just a few months ago, also couldn’t meet expectations. Even after a major cast change, with Jay Soni stepping in as the new male lead, the response remained lukewarm. The show will now be moved to a 10 a.m. slot for the remaining episodes, effectively ending its run without a proper prime-time exit.
This abrupt reshuffling has raised eyebrows, with insiders calling Dangal TV’s recent decisions “impulsive.” Whether the revamp pays off or further disrupts the channel’s growing audience base remains to be seen.
