The episode starts with Adhi saying that he decided to leave the house and walking away. Aishwarya asks Parvathi why she told the truth to Adhi inspite of them signing her not to tell it. Purushotaman says that they had convinced Adhi to stay back after lot of struggles, but now all their efforts are gone waste. Parvathi says that she can’t hide the truth when Adhi kept insisting her, and moreover they have promised to each other that they won’t have any secrets. Purushotaman advises Parvathi that they can’t always tell the truth and if she had lied to Adhi about what happened, Adhi and she would’ve stayed back in the house and they would’ve been happy, but now there’s no chance for that. He sadly leaves from there. Aishwarya says that she has no idea how to convince Adhi now and walks away. Parvathi feels bad for what all happened.
Family members are gathered in the dinning room to have lunch. Parvathi serves the food to everyone. Purushotaman says the food smells great and praises Pattamal’s cooking talent. The latter reveals that Parvathi has prepared the lunch and adds that she made Akhila’s favorite dishes. Akhila smiles hearing the same. Purushotaman complains that Parvathi hasn’t made his favorite dish. Singarevellan jokes saying that he likes what Akhila likes.
The family members praise Parvathi’s cooking except Vanaja. Singaravellan says that the food is yummy. Vanaja asks him not to exaggerate. Akhila intervenes and says that all the dishes are really very tasty. Parvathi and everyone get delighted hearing this. Purushotaman asks Adhi why he’s being silent to which Adhi says that mom used to tell that one shouldn’t talk while eating and he’s following that.
Adhi receives a call. He requests Singaravellan to attend the call and put the phone on speaker. Singaravellan does so. Janu asks Adhi if the anniversary celebration went smoothly. She then says that she and Perumal miss them lot and asks when they’re coming back. Adhi says that they’re returning today which upset Akhila and other family members as well. Akhila thinks that when the person that Adhi got to know recently isn’t able to stay away from Adhi, how a mother can stay away from her son. She wishes that Adhi would tell her he will stay with her. Akhila gets dejected and leaves the place without completing her food. Adhi also leave the food in between.
Vanaja notices Paravthi going out taking her phone. She follows Parvathi taking Uma along. Parvathi goes to an isolated place. She checks the surroundings, before phoning Gajenttiren. She asks him to come to the hospital and says that she will explain to him everything coming there. She gives him details of the hospital. She then phones to the hospital and informs that a patient, who fractured her leg is on the way to their hospital and gives her name, Parvathi as the patient’s name. Vanaja understands that Parvathi is planning something to stay back in the house and decides to ruin her plan. Parvathi goes to Adhi, who is talking over phone. She says to him that she’s visiting the nearby temple. Adhi nods ok. Parvathi apologizes to Adhi in her heart for lying to him.
