The episode starts with Anokhi staying adamant that she will study and will never gets married. Ramesh argues with her. Anokhi says that he can lock her in room but can never control her. Ramesh says that he will make sure to get her married in a week. Rama asks her to shut for sometime but Anokhi doesn’t listen. Ramesh gets furious. He blames Aastha for brainwashing Anokhi and other girls and says that he’s going to file complaint against her. Bubbly offers water to Rama but he gets anger on her too. Beeji taunts Bubbly for not giving a child for two years now.
On the other hand Devi is tensed about Aastha. Shaurya comes there and finds her tensed. He asks her the reason for it. Devi says that he only calls her Badi maa but in reality she’s only mother for name sake but his real mother is Aastha. Shaurya says that she’s not his mother. Devi says that she’s scared that Aastha will separate him from her claiming her rights. Shaurya says that nothing like that will happen as its her who handled the house for years and promises that no such thing will happen.
Aastha recalls Shaurya’s behaviour and understands that they filled his mind against her completely. She recalls Anokhi’s words. Rama pleads Ramesh to open the door as her condition is very bad. Beeji is against it and taunts them.
Rama and Bubbly pleads him and assures him that they will make sure she doesn’t go anywhere. Ramesh opens the door and searches for her. He finds her studying very much relaxed and shows it to Rama and Bubbly. Rama taunts Anokhi that she didn’t change even after such a big incident. Bubbly too scolds her but Anokhi doesn’t budge. She’s filling a form. Anokhi sends Aastha a text that she’s alright. Aastha thinks that when she has a student like her then she don’t need to hurry and wishes for Shaurya to understand her too.
At Sabherwals house, Tai ji taunts Kanchan for not making phulka on his standard. Bubbly applies ointment on Anokhi’s wounds. Anokhi says that she would never back off from her goal for anything. Bubbly tries making her understand that all those women rights doesn’t suit for real. Anokhi says that it’s called feminism which her father hates and she will prove herself. On the other hand Devi advises Kanchan that food is a way to reach a man’s heart.
Sweety teases her but Gayathri shuts her that she never stepped inside kitchen even once. Gayathri supports Sweety that it’s not needed as she’s the daughter of the house and can do all that after reaching her in laws. Tai ji asks for food and a Devi hurriedly leaves to make it the way he likes it. Gayathri’s husband asks his son to teach somethings to his wife. Anokhi says that she will not accept defeat and will stand on her own feet no matter what. Devi is making phulka and explains how to make it right to Gayathri and Kanchan. Kanchan asks if they have so much problem with her then why did they bring her as daughter in law.
Gayathri says that if they brought someone with equal status then the girl would’ve ran away by now. However they will get their daughters married off to a rich family for their comfort. Anokhi is adamant.
