The episode starts with Kanika asking Bhagyasree where she is going. Bhagyasree tells Kanika that she is going to court. Kanika asks Bhagyasree where Karthik and Deepa are. Bhagyasree says that they will arrive shortly. Hearing this, Kanika tells Bhagyasree that she will also come to court. Bhagyasree agrees. Chitralekha comes to Kanika and Bhagyasree and says that she will also accompany them to court. Bhagyasree asks Chitralekha not to get involved in Deepa and Jyoti’s matter. Chitralekha tells Bhagyasree that she knows Bhagyasree does not believe her regarding Deepa and Jyoti, but she only wants what is best for them.
Deepa’s scooter breaks down in the middle of the road. Karthik and Deepa pray to God, hoping the scooter will start. Deepa starts the scooter, and it starts immediately. They leave on the scooter right away.
In court, the judge arrives and asks Jaikanth and Sonali to begin the proceedings. Jaikanth tells the judge that Deepa has not come to court and has also failed to submit the birth certificate. He requests the judge to dismiss the case, rule in Bhanu’s favor, and grant Jyoti’s custody to him. Sonali requests the judge to give Deepa some time. Jaikanth objects, but the judge grants Sonali ten minutes for Deepa to arrive.

Jaikanth calls Bhanu to the witness stand and asks him why he lives separately from Deepa. Bhanu claims that Deepa wants a life of luxury and that all the money he earned was spent on her expenses. He says that after Deepa gave birth to Jyoti, he thought things would improve, but instead, her demands increased. Bhanu adds that Deepa threatened to take Jyoti away if he did not fulfill her demands. Deepa tells the judge that Bhanu is lying. The judge orders Deepa to maintain order in the court.
Sonali requests permission to question Bhanu, and the judge agrees. Sonali asks Bhanu that if he loves Deepa so much, why he married Shobha without divorcing Deepa. Sonali informs the judge that Shobha is present in the courtroom and seeks permission to question her. Jaikanth clarifies to the judge that Bhanu and Shobha are just friends and nothing more. Bhanu agrees.
Shobha comes to the witness stand and confirms that she and Bhanu are just friends and not husband and wife. Jaikanth then requests the judge to call Deepa to the witness stand, and the judge agrees.
Jaikanth asks Deepa about her relationship with Karthik. Deepa replies that Karthik is only a friend. Jaikanth then asks why she wrote Karthik’s name as the father instead of Bhanu’s.
