The show’s makers had approached her as they planned a major leap in the storyline, which could have involved a significant shift in characters and narrative direction.
According to reports, Doshi was considered to replace Hiba Nawab, who currently plays the lead. While the leap was expected to introduce a fresh chapter in the show, Shiny decided not to take up the role. She expressed that she is not keen on joining a series that is undergoing a time leap, especially when it involves reshaping an already established storyline. Instead, she is choosing to wait for a new project that offers a completely original premise.
This decision comes amid ongoing speculation about the exits of current leads Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja. However, no official confirmation has been made about their departure. For now, both actors continue to be part of the show.
