The episode begins with Kartikeya telling Lord Shiv that he will say who will be the new Devraj. Ganesh wonders whether Kartikeya wants to become Devraj once again. Kartikeya takes the crown of Devraj and says he knows who deserves this crown and throne of Devraj. He reveals Indra deserves to become Devraj, and he wants Indra to be elected as king of Devraj once again. Everyone gets shocked hearing this.
Goddess Parvati asks Kartikeya whether he forgot Indra’s sins. She says Indra misused the power; that’s why Lord Shiv snatched Swarglok from Indra. She asks him why he wishes to give Swarglok to Indra again. He tells her he did not forget Indra’s sins, but everyone makes mistakes. He asks Lord Shiv to give him a chance to make Indra realize his sins. He says he will make Indra capable of being king of Swarglok. He adds that until then, the king position will remain vacant. He announces he will quit as commander of Swarglok after completing his mission.
On the other hand, Gajasur, Mahishi, and the asuras do puja to Shivling. They hear Shukracharya’s voice. Gajasur tells Mahishi that he is feeling pity for Shukracharya. He says Shukracharya is a Shiv devotee; still, Shukracharya is getting distracted from shivatva. Mahishi tells him she tried to make Shukracharya understand, but Shukracharya did not listen to her. She says let Shukracharya do whatever he wants to do.
Kartikeya tells Lord Shiv to send him to the place from where he can work for the universe’s well-being. Goddess Parvati asks Kartikeya why he wants to stay away from his family and Kailash. He tells her her family and Kailash are filled with power. He says he committed sin because inappropriate desires came to his mind. He reminds her what he did with Ashok Sundari and Nahusha. He adds it would be best for him to leave from there. She tells him realizing mistakes brings big change, so he won’t make more mistakes. She says she has complete faith in Kartikeya, and she won’t let him go anywhere. He asks her to not stop him because he can’t stay in peace there. He says he took this decision for his and the world’s welfare. She asks him whether he can live without his family.
Lord Shiv says Kartikeya can live and wipes his tears. He tells Kartikeya that he is proud of the latter. Goddess Parvati tells Lord Shiv that Kailash will be incomplete without Kartikeya. She asks how they will live without Kartikeya. He tells her Kartikeya lives in their heart, and that’s what matters. He says they should support Kartikeya.
Meanwhile, Shukracharya says he lost. He announces he will self-immolate. He pleads with Lord Shiv to open his third eye and destroy him with its fire. He says he wants to be free from all this.
In the Kailash, Goddess Parvati tells Lord Shiv that the universe will say the guru killed his teacher if the latter fulfilled Shukracharya’s wish. Lord Shiv says he has to fulfill Shukracharya’s wish, and he will do that. He opens his third eye, and the fire reaches Shukracharya.
