Episode begins with Lord Shiv and Devi Parvati reach Swarglok. Everyone chants har har mahadev. Lord Shiv asks to come forward whoever wants to become Devaraj. Kartikeya looks at crown of Devaraj. Devtas says they don’t want to become Devaraj. They adds they want Kartikeya to become Devaraj. Kartikeya smiles hearing this. Devi Parvati asks anyone else want to become Devaraj. Kartikeya says he will quit his commander position. He asks Lord Shiv to announce him as Devaraj. Narad says Kartikeya is best choice for Devaraj position. Lord Narayan says there is no competition so let’s announce Kartikeya as Devaraj.
On the other hand, Gajasur and the other asurs dances. Gajasur chants har har mahadev. Shukracharya and Mahishi also chants har har mahadev. Gajasur tells Shukracharya that let’s go to Asur lok. Mahishi tells Gajasur that Shukracharya will try to stop Gajasur from following the Shivatva path. Gajasur asks Mahishi to not worry. Shukracharya thinks that he won’t let Gajasur stay as Lord Shiv’s devotee.
Nahusha comes there with Ashok Sundari and says he wants to become Devaraj. They greet Lord Shiv and Devi Parvati. Nahusha says he wants to participate in the competition. Lord Shiv gives permission. Kartikeya asks Nahusha why the latter came suddenly. Lord Shiv reveals he called Nahusha to participate in the competition. Kartikeya asks Lord Shiv why the latter wants to break his dream always. Lord Shiv says it’s not like that.
Kartikeya says Lord Shiv can’t see him sitting on the Devaraj throne. And says Lord Shiv can’t see him winning; that’s why he called Nahusha. He tells Devi Parvati to take sides firmly. Devi Parvati tells Lord Shiv that Kartikeya’s pain and question are not unnecessary. She says she doesn’t doubt Nahusha’s strength. She asks Lord Shiv why he invited Nahusha.
Kartikeya asks Lord Shiv to give an answer. Lord Shiv says he took this decision due to Kartikeya. Kartikeya asks what he did. Lord Shiv asks Ganesh to say what Kartikeya did. Ganesh tells Kartikeya that he followed the latter on Lord Shiv’s behest. In the past, Kartikeya threatened Devtas to give his name for the Devaraj position. Ganesh tells everything to Lord Shiv.
In the present, Ganesh reveals everything. Ashok Sundari says they did not know Kartikeya wanted to become Devaraj, and now fights will happen between family members, which is wrong. She asks Nahusha to not become Devaraj. She is about to leave from there with Nahusha. But Lord Shiv stops Nahusha.
Asurs welcome Gajasur. Gajasur says Lord Shiv’s abhishek should happen first. Shukracharya asks Gajasur not to mix responsibility and devotion. Gajasur tells Shukracharya to leave Asur Lok if the latter has problems then. Shukracharya says he won’t go anywhere. He adds he will arrest Gajasur and rule Asur Lok until he finds a new Asur king.
Lord Shiv tells Ashok Sundari that it’s about universe well-being, not their family. He says Devaraj should serve others without ego and selfishness. He tells Kartikeya that everyone will participate in the competition. He adds that the winner will become Devaraj. Kartikeya asks, and others ask about competition. Lord Shiv reveals he will sit on the highest hill to do meditation, and the person who reaches him first will be the winner.
