Gorgeous and talented actress Son Ye Jin might be starring in the upcoming thriller drama “Variety.”
A media source recently reported that actress Son Ye Jin has received an offer to star in the upcoming drama “Variety” and is currently reviewing the offer.In response to the report, her representative shared that the actress indeed receive an offer for the upcoming drama and is still in the process of reviewing the script.
In addition, representative from the drama’s production company CJ ENM stated that they have offered the role to Son Ye Jin and is awaiting confirmation. Since the project is still in its early stages, the casting and broadcast schedule have not been finalized yet.
“Variety” is an upcoming thriller drama set in the idol industry and will be helmed by director Kim Yong Hoon, known for his hit Netflix series “Mask Girl.”
The drama’s production team is reportedly in the midst of casting both active and former idols for key roles, as the story centers around an idol group. Meanwhile “Squid Game 2” star and former IZ*ONE member Jo Yu Ri is also in talks for the lead role.
Son Ye Jin has reportedly been offered the role of a charismatic, sharp-witted, and outspoken personality. The actress is currently gearing up for the filming of Netflix’s upcoming series “Scandal” alongside Ji Chang Wook. She has also recently completed filming Park Chan Wook’s highly anticipated movie “No Other Choice” opposite Lee Byung Hyung.
