We had already reported that Sony TV’s revamp mode is on. The company announced bringing the 2.0 version of its previously hit shows in place of the ongoing.
The news came as a shocker for Kavya, Pukaar, and Jubliee Talkies viewers. All three shows had a different storyline. They are liked for not showcasing the regular drama. But ratings matter at the end of the day.
The channel doesn’t hesitate to pull down the curtain if TRP is not coming. Sony TV tried to experiment with the contents, but nothing is working in its favor. No Sony TV shows are in the TRP, though we can’t deny the fact that Sony channel shows earn online hype. The online buzz of Sony shows is unmatchable.
There is a craze for Sony TV’s ‘KBC’. The Kavya show earned online hype. Despite the relatable content, the channel fails to enter the TRP race.
Gone are the days when Sony was famous for showcasing stories like Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai, and Bade Acche Lagate Hain, among others.
The 2.0 version of Sony TV shows failed to hit the ratings. The channel is again taking a big risk by bringing back CID and Aahat.
