By Smita Pal| Rajan Shahi is all set to bring a new show on Star Plus titled “Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si,” which is the remake of the famous Bengali serial “Irabotir Chupkotha” produced by Acropoliis Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and featured Monami Ghosh and Syed Arefin in lead roles.
In Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si will showcase the story of two individuals in their 30s and 40s as they pursue their dreams and raise the question of whether love can happen later in life.
The promo was quite refreshing to watch. It starts by introducing Vandana who is seen cutting her 35th birthday cake along with her family. At the age of 35, Vandana is single, due to which she has been pressured to get married by her relatives. She nevertheless remains optimistic about going after her goals and thinks it is worthwhile to wait for the right person to come along before falling in love. Kunal arrives on the scene at the right moment. Vandana and Kunal meet for the first time. It will be interesting to see how their story progresses. Is age an issue in both love and life?
Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si will star Mohit Malik and Sayli Salunkhe of Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala fame of Bahut Pyaar Karte Hain fame respectively.
The collaboration of Rajan Shahi and Star Plus has brought some iconic shows like Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai, Anupama, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai that have garnered massive TRPs and a loyal audience base, and they are back together to break new records with Baatein Kuch Ankaheen Si.
