One thing is clear Mr.Touqeer is a typical Indian father who does not want his young daughter to come close to any man. He had even warned Sumbul against getting close to Shalin Bhanot in Bigg Boss 16
His over-possessiveness is costing Sumbul friendships. First, she lost out on a buddy in Shalin, and now Fahmaan. Interestingly some fans suggested that Sumbul and Fahman were in a relationship.
It is high time for Touqeer Sahab to understand that his daughter is in a glamorous industry where contact with the opposite sex is common.
He might end up harming Sumbul’s career if she does film as she wishes, and if friendships bloom with known actors, any such conservativeness will prove costly.
Already Sumbul lost out on one music video with Fahmaan.
Sumbul needs to sit with her father and convince him to be more open about life.
