The episode starts with Shiva teasing Sid and Sundari. Sundari says Sidu that Shiva is Anu’s best friend. Shiva leaves and Sid admires Sundari. Shiva greets Anu and asks her why Sundari seems so dull. Anu says that her husband is the reason for it who seems to have an affair with another girl. Shiva asks why didn’t he divorce him yet and she states that it’s because of Murugan who would be guilty for getting her married to the wrong person. Shiva calls it unnecessary as Sundari is like a diamond and she should be with someone who protects her like him. Karthik gets irritated with their talks and asks them to change the topic. Anu says that it’s not the only issue and says about Sundari’s husband providing proof that she’s infertile but she has suspicion over it. Shiva asks why don’t she bring Sundari along with her so that they could test her in his own hospital. He says that he knows a renowned gynaecologist who could help her. Karthik calls their efforts vain but Anu likes the idea. She agreed to bring Sundari. Sundari heard their talks from outside.
Sidu and Krishna were worried about how Sundari would react as they wait outside the gynaecologist’s house. Shiva comes there and they greet him. He says ge don’t want to trouble Anu in her state and Sidu shares his worry when Shiva assures him that they are doing it for her good. Karthik’s sister is worried about the series of lies they need to say to Murugan to cover one. Malini says that it’s all because of Karthik and says from the time Valliammai got to know about it she wants to confess it to Murugan but couldn’t aa she can’t speak. She despises Karthik for breaking about Sundari’s infertility to her for him to escape. She says that now they are not in the situation to break the news to Murugan as it would affect both Anu’s health and Sundari’s exams. She asks her to persuade him to take him back to their place . Her mother doesn’t know how to do it as he’s adamant.
The boys meet with Dr. Kalyani and explains Sundari’s situation to her. They say that they have suspicion about the report which is why they are there for second opinion and doesn’t want to hurt Sundari further. Shiva Apologizes her for going against the ethics but Kalyani understands it. She asks him to bring Sundari to get check her making some excuses. Krishna comes to Sundari and complaints that she looks sick. Malini also joins him in his life to persuade Sundari to go to Dr. Kalyani.
