The episode starts with Appatha asking Murugan if he finds Kartick in his office. Murugan starts coughing. Lakshmi asks her not to question him while eating. Sundari gives water to him. Appatha says that she didn’t ask anything wrong. Lakshmi asks them to eat silently. Appatha asks her if he won’t come? Krishna says that she is aware of his character. He will come back when Sundari becomes a collector. Malini says that she is a collector now. Appatha asks Murugan to take a rest. Sundari thinks that the Karthick problem is over. She doubts why Murugan is like that? Murugan is lost in his thoughts. Lakshmi asks him to change his dress. He breaks into tears there. Lakshmi asks him what happened? Murugan asks her why is the god punishing him like this? She would have killed him rather than that. He ruined Sundari’s life. He thought that she would do the final rites for him. But she killed her alive. Lakshmi asks him to explain to her. Murugan says that Karthick isn’t working for Anu. He is Anu’s husband. He was betraying them. Sundari is not able to accept it all. She considered him her father. He was a Yaman to her father. Now he became a Yaman in Sundari’s life too. He wants to die. She asks him to calm down. Murugan says that he didn’t stay at home for Anu. He lied to them to go for job for that Anu. He stopped talking with Sundari because of that Anu. He betrayed them.
Murugan says to Lakshmi that he demanded Karthick to quit his job. He argued with him about Anu. He brought that jewel for Anu. His wife Sundari was waiting for him at home. But Karthick is roaming out with Anu. Lakshmi thinks that he wants to cry as much as he wants. He can take a decision with a calm mind. Murugan tells her that Sundari’s father asked him to take care of his family when he closed his eyes. How will he fulfill his promise? When Sundari fails to return home on time after she wrote the exam. The villagers badmouthed her. He fixed her wedding with Karthick. He thought that he would take good care on Sundari. But his decision ruined Sundari’s life. He doesn’t deserve to live. He broke the promise to Sundari’s father. He can’t face Sundari. He says that he is going to die. Lakshmi asks him why he should die when Karthick did wrong. He is her everything. Lakshmi says that Sundari won’t be alive if something happens to him. Murugan says that he did the wrong thing.

She adds that he send the goon to stop Sundari from write the exam. He asks her not to worry about him. He doesn’t care if he go to jail.
Murugan leaves from there in anger. Sundari asks her why he is going out in anger. She informs her that Murugan learns the truth. He is going to kill Karthick. She reveals everything to him. Sundari says that she did a wrong thing. Karthick prays in temple. Anu prays for Karthick. Sundari calls Karthick but she declines the call in anger. He switched off his phone. Lakshmi asks her if he don’t attend the call? His time is over. Sundari says that Anu didn’t do any mistake. She is in her due date. Lakshmi says that she can’t stop anything
