The episode starts with Valli asking Lakshmi if she knows the truth already? Isn’t she aware that Karthick betrayed Sundari and married Anu secretly? She didn’t advise him and corrected him. She doesn’t even scold him. Lakshmi says that she lashed out at Karthick when she learned the truth. She was keeping quiet for Anu’s sake. Valli says that Sundar’s life was ruined because of them. Lakshmi says that she was also disappointed with his actions. Sundari isn’t able to become a mom. But Anu is carrying a baby. She was carrying their heir. Janaki asks her. Doesn’t she consider Sundari a woman?
If she accepts her as a woman when she becomes a mom? If she can’t become a mom, then she shouldn’t try to achieve her dreams. Lakshmi tells her that she didn’t mean it. But they need an heir. Janaki says that she will get her heir through her daughter too. Lakshmi says that she is her daughter. They will accept their son’s baby as heir. Janaki asks her to stop talking like that. Doesn’t Selvi break the rules and ask Sundari to do the final rituals? Malini asks them to leave this topic. She says to Valli that everyone was angry at Karthick, though they are keeping quiet for Sundari’s sake. As for now, Sundari’s dream is important to them.
Lakshmi asks Valli to eat something. Everything will be alright. Sundari is their blood. They won’t allow her to struggle alone, but support her in her hard times. There is an end to every beginning. She consoles her and feeds food to her. Later, Sundari visits Sidharth’s house and inquires Mani about his wife’s health. He assures her that she is feeling better now. Sidharth tells her that she won’t visit his house without a reason. Sundari tells him that Anu bought their book materials to prepare for their exam. She asks him to do group study with her. Sidharth says to her that he doesn’t like her helping Karthick. How could she ask him to study at her house? He adds that he couldn’t forget the way Karthick insulted her. Sundari tells him that Anu invited them, not Karthick. She can’t go stoop like him. Mani advises Sidharth to ignore Kathick and study with Sundari. Sundari is important to him, not Karthick. As a friend he might support her. Sudharth agrees to study with her at Anu’s house.
Murugan returned home. Appatha hesitates to talk with him. She doubts whether Murugan is aware of the truth or not? If she manages the situation, she will reveal the truth to him. She informs him that Malini and Valli went to Janaki’s house to meet Sundari’s mom. Murugan asks Malini if Valli has returned home? Malini lied to him. She mentioned Janaki as Sundari’s mom. Appatha asks Malini why she is lying to him? Malini says that he doesn’t know the truth yet. She asks her not to blabber the truth to him. Lakshmi is aware of the truth. Appatha says that she won’t hide anything from Murugan.
Malini confused her. Sundari returns home. Appatha asks Sundari to answer her questions. Malini says to Sundari that she was about to blabber the truth to Murugan but she stopped her. Sundari asks Appatha why she is doing that. Appatha scolds them. Sundari meets Valli and consoles her. She pleads with Valli to wait for her. Janaki says that she can’t expect her to wait like them. She isn’t her own mother. But Valli is not able to see her daughter’s life getting ruined. She shares her grief with Sundari. She shouldn’t have asked her to hide the truth from Murugan. Murugan hears their crying sounds and gets suspicious. Malini tries to divert him. Appatha says that she can hear that sound too. He goes to check them out.
