Shivangi Joshi, who has previously acted in shows like Begusarai, YRKKH, Balika Vadhu 2, and others. After appearing in Bekaboo, produced by Ekta, she is said to be in the race to take on the lead role in one of the shows that will be produced by Balaji Telefilms. Yes, you read that right! According to a report in a portal, Ekta Kapoor is bringing a new show to Sony TV that will focus on the stories of journalists. The casting team has approached Shivangi to play the role of a journalist.

Interestingly, Disha Parmar, who started her career in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and recently appeared in Ekta Kapoor’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, is also in the running for the same role.

The story will showcase the story of a hardworking and independent girl. Let’s wait and watch to see who stands a chance to bag the meaty role in the daily soap that will air on Sony Entertainment Television.

Gaurav Khanna is not quitting Anupamaa.

Anupamaa is currently the top show on Indian television and churns out new content every day.

Rupali Ganguly plays the protagonist Anupamaa, while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anuj and Anupama’s heartbreaking separation.

As per many news portals, Gaurav Khanna will be quitting the show, and the makers will be ending his character.

Now, as per sources close to the show, Anuj, aka Gaurav Khanna, is not quitting anytime soon and will be a very big part of the show. His performance in the show has been loved by all, and his recent track record of showing vulnerability as a man has impressed the audience.

Monika Khanna on Durga Aur Charu going off air

The recently launched show ‘Durga and Charu’ failed to impress the audience, and thus, the TRP ratings were very low.

Durga Aur Charu is a heartfelt story of two sisters who are stark opposites of each other since they were separated at birth. The current track is about Durga and Charu’s bitter separation.

Produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions the show got into a controversy when it replaced the male lead Mohit Kumar with Kunal Jaisingh within few days. 

Recently we got in touch with Monica Khanna was played the role of Latika on the show and opened up about the show’s ending.  

She expressed and said, “ It was a wonderful experience, I have met such wonderful people.  It was a short journey but it is going to stay with me because just as we started forming bonds, and got to do scenes together, and as we were getting comfortable with our characters, we got the news that Durga Aur Charu is going off air which was the saddest and very heartbreaking news, for anyone of us, memories are very very beautiful and I am going to miss the whole cast”.

Talking about her experience with working with Kunal she said, “Kunal is a good human and he is a prankster, I love him and he loved to irritate me, and he is the only person on set, who can really irritate me to hell and he has a lot of fun doing it and I was the only target, otherwise he is genuinely a gem of a person”. 

Durga Aur Charu will telecast it’s last episode on 14th April. 

Ankit Gupta reveals challenges of shooting a wedding sequence in Junooniyatt

Colors’ new show Junooniyatt is doing pretty well on the TRP charts. Ankit Gupta who plays the role of Jahan, a singer talked about the challenges of shooting for a wedding sequence for his show. 

According to IANS Ankit said: “Shooting the marriage sequence in heavy rain was a challenging and exhilarating experience. A team can work long hours when they are united in their mission to entertain people. We would do it all over again just for the families who gather around the TV to watch our show. We thank the audience for showering big love on the mahasangam episode.”

During the episode, Elahi, played by Neha Rana in Junooniyatt was forced to get married to Ranjeet, the negative lead character of ‘Udaariyaan’. However, during the shoot, the cast faced unpredictable weather and technical difficulties.

Speaking about the same, Neha added: “The weather was not on our side during the shoot but that did not dampen the team’s enthusiasm. We were pulling day and night shifts without any breaks and met the episode bank requirements. It all worked out perfectly because we as a team supported each other throughout the shoot.”

Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal star Aditi Rawat to be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13? 

Aditi Rawat had previously acted in shows like Vighnaharta Ganesh, Hari Mirch Laal Mirch, Main Bhi Ardhagini, and others.

Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal features Reem Shaikh, Karan Kundrra, and Gashmeer Mahajani in the lead roles. Aditi Rawat plays the role of Kamya Punjabi’s daughter, and according to the latest media report, the actress might be seen in the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.

Aditi has not yet given a statement regarding her being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Her character in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal is likely to wind up soon, and she will soon leave for the adventure reality show. As per the report, the actress has also gone through the medical checkup round.
