Shivangi Joshi is a name to be reckoned with. Shivangi, who has been a part of the television industry for a long time, gained overnight success after playing the lead role in Star Plus’ and longest-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Post her stint in the show, Shivangi appeared in Balika Vadhu 2 and made a cameo appearance in Bekaboo.
According to an ETimes TV report, Shivangi Joshi will soon be seen playing the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s new show. As per the report, the actress will be seen playing the role of a journalist, the female lead. Reportedly, Shivangi has been confirmed and signed for the project, and she will be seen opposite actor Kushal Tandon. Kushal and Shivangi’s characters will be seen as at odds at first, only to fall in love later. The report also suggests that a mock shoot will take place in a couple of days and that the shoot will begin in 10 days.
Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show will be a love story. Kushal Tandon is a character with multiple shades. The casting process is in its final stages, and the show is expected to go on the air by the middle of next month.
This show will bring Kushal back to television after six years. He was last seen in Beyhadh. Kushal has been a part of several shows, such as Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Nach Baliye 5, Bigg Boss 7, and Khatron Ke Khiladi 5.

Star Plus is one of the most popular shows. Yeh Hai Chahatein is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The current plot of the show revolves around Mansi manipulating Samrat by staging her own death and making him push Nayan in the river.

The show will go the Khoon Bhari Maang way, as Siddharth and Nayan will vow to exact revenge against Samrat. In ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’, Kabir Bedi’s character pushes Rekha’s character into the river to get rid of her, but she gets rescued and re-enters his life after a makeover to take revenge. However, in Yeh Hai Chahatein, Siddharth has ulterior motives for helping Nayan and taking revenge on Samrat.
