The episode starts with Dil noticing sunlight falling on Nandini’s face. She stands in front of her to block the sunlight. The nurse sees Dil and reminds her that this is an ICU and children are not allowed to stay. Dil explains that she was just trying to shield Nandini from the sunlight because it was making her uncomfortable. The nurse then closes the window and takes Dil out of the ICU. She asks Dil to find Lata and says that unless Lata brings the money, the operation cannot be performed. Dil worries about Nandini.
Lata returns home and finds her husband. She asks where he had gone. Lata informs him that Nandini has met with an accident and the doctor said they need ₹4 lakhs immediately for the operation. Dil’s uncle asks if Nandini hasn’t died already. Shocked, Lata comments that he doesn’t even care about his sister. She decides to mortgage her jewellery for money. However, Dil’s uncle locks Lata in a room to stop her from going to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Raghav argues with Natasha and questions why they want Shanaya to be humiliated. Natasha defends Shanaya, saying it’s her dream to become a singer. Raghav counters that it’s not a dream but a stubborn desire. He says becoming a singer takes years of training and that Shanaya cannot win a contest by practicing for just a few days. Natasha asks if he plans to break Shanaya’s heart again. Raghav, thinking about Shanaya, agrees to train her but on the condition that she follows his method. Natasha leaves.
Dil’s uncle comes to the hospital. Dil asks him about the money. He says that neither he nor Lata will return to the hospital since they can’t afford the treatment and can’t bear to see Nandini’s condition. He says now only Lord Sriram can save her. Dil leaves.
The next day, Raghav performs a puja to Goddess Saraswati and decides to begin Shanaya’s music training. He calls for Shanaya.
Shanaya records a video for her followers, saying she’ll soon become a rock star as her father Raghav is going to teach her singing. She goes to meet him.
Raghav sends Natasha away and starts teaching Shanaya how to sing. Shanaya quickly gets bored, but Raghav insists that she must keep practicing.
Meanwhile, Dil tells her friend Ram about Nandini’s condition. They break Ram’s piggy bank but find only ₹40 inside. They decide to go to the temple and ask Lord Sriram for help.
At the temple, they see a woman who has dropped her necklace into a well. She demands her husband retrieve it at any cost. The husband asks Dil if she will go down in a bucket to fetch the necklace. Dil initially refuses, saying she is going to the temple to pray for her mother’s treatment and needs ₹4 lakhs. The man promises to give her the money if she retrieves the necklace. Dil agrees to go into the well. The people around tie clothes together as a safety rope for her.
