The episode starts with Ekam asking everyone to enjoy their special lunch. Naaz whispers to Balveer that some trouble awaits them. Jasmine asks Ekam what lunch is for. Naaz thinks that Ekam is up to something. Ekam says to Jasmine that this lunch party will be memorable. He asks her to enjoy it. Lights go off. Ekam gives a singing performance, recalling Nehmat refusing to marry him. Ekam imagines taking Nehmat to the stage and dancing with her. The reality hits him. Nehmat and Sartaj dance.
The lights turn on. Ekam gets engagement rings on a plate, which shocks everyone. Ekam says that it’s a surprise to Ekam and Sartaj. Jasmine smiles. Sartaj asks Ekam why he is doing this as it’s their personal life. Ekam says that it’s not personal ever since he took Nehmat home in his arms. He asks if Nehmat and Sartaj are serious in their relationship and if this relationship isn’t a joke like the previous one.
Jasmine supports Ekam and says that this is the best decision for everyone, especially Nehmat, as she won’t get taunted anymore. She says that they should get Sartaj and Nehmat married soon. Nehmat’s aunt agrees with Jasmine. Harleen understands that Ekam might be pained while doing this. Ekam says that his wife, Harleen, will help Nehmat to get ready while he will help Sartaj to get ready. Naaz says that everyone is ready, but Sartaj and Nehmat. Ekam takes Sartaj with him.
Harleen makes Nehmat get ready. Harleen says that Nehmat is lucky to get two guys who love her while some people don’t even get one. She asks Nehmat not to leave Sartaj like she left Ekam. On the other hand, Ekam helps Sartaj to get ready. Ekam lectures Sartaj about commitment in relationships and asks him to fulfill it. He wonders if there’s really love between them. He says that one can’t be sure that the girl agrees till she says yes.
Harleen brings Nehmat. Nehmat is about to fall. Ekam shouts Nehmat. He controls his emotions. Sartaj and Harleen are made to sit on the stage. Nehmat says to Sartaj that she wants to talk to him. Jasmine intervenes. Jasmine says that, for the first time, Nehmat made the right decision in her life. She asks Sartaj and Nehmat to exchange their rings. Ekam gives the rings to Sartaj and Nehmat. Ekam asks them to start the ring exchange ceremony.
Sartaj forwards his hand. Nehmat looks horrified and doesn’t forward her hand. So, Harleen places Nehmat’s hand on Sartaj’s. Naaz says that Sartaj’s bride is going to come to their house. She felicitates them. Sartaj is about to slide the ring onto Nehmat’s finger. The latter jerks her hand, making the ring falls. She gets up and refuses to perform the engagement ceremony, which shocks everyone, especially Harleen. Ekam picks the ring up. Ekam says that he is hearing Nehmat’s refusal for a second time. He asks Nehmat why she doesn’t want to get engaged to Sartaj. He says that he will talk to Nehmat once as she might have a valid reason for refusing. He reminds Sartaj of his words. He asks Nehmat if he can talk to her for two minutes to know her reason for her refusal.
