The episode starts with Ekam and Harleen deciding to have food in the dhaba and enquire about a mechanic. Nehmat is shocked to notice Ekam and Harleen entering the dhaba. She recalls refusing to marry Ekam. She covers her face with her duppata and runs inside the dhaba. Ekam notices a girl running inside from behind, but he doesn’t see Nehmat’s face. Nimmo goes to check on Nehmat. Sartaj also notices and looks on.
Nehmat wonders if Ekam recognizes her. Nimmo goes to Nehmat and asks her why she went inside. Nehmat tells a lie. Nimmo asks Nehmat to come outside and help her with cooking so that her mind is diverted. She leaves. Sartaj notices Nehmat being anxious. Sartaj serves food to Harleen and Ekam. They say that they haven’t ordered food yet. Sartaj says that they serve free food that day. Sartaj notices Nehmat looking nervously towards Ekam and Harleen. He grows suspicious.
Ekam remembers Nehmat after eating the first bite of kofta. He makes an excuse to wash his hands and goes to see the cook. Nehmat hides on seeing Ekam. The latter wonders if Nehmat made the kofta. Meanwhile, Nimmo is shocked to see Harleen and remembers Jasmine. Nimmo enquires Harleen from where she is coming from. She says that she might know her. Harleen says that she must know her mom, Jasmine. She apologizes to Nimmo if Jasmine wronged her. Nimmo pretends that she doesn’t know their family and asks Harleen who are all in her family. She asks about Jasmine’s sister. Harleen says everyone in Tejo’s family died except Nehmat. Nimmo thinks that’s why Nehmat seemed like a family member to her. Harleen asks Nimmo if she knows her family very well. Nimmo replies not that much.
Ekam feels Nehmat’s presence. Sartaj goes to Ekam and asks what he wants. Ekam asks Sartaj who made the kofta. Sartaj notices Nehmat, who is hiding. Nehmat nods no. Sartaj asks Ekam why he is questioning him like a police officer. Ekam says that he is a police officer. He urges Sartaj to tell who made the kofta. Sartaj lies that he made. Ekam says that it reminds him of someone. He shakes hands with Sartaj. The latter notices Nehmat’s tattoo on Ekam’s arm and understands that there’s some connection between them. He asks Ekam if he has come to search for his friend or his enemy. Ekam says that the person was once his friend, but now she doesn’t deserve to be called even his enemy. Nehmat cried after hearing this.
Rupy tells his family about going to divide his land into three shares and gives each share to Harleen ,Naaz and Nehmat. Naaz isn’t happy to hear this. Nimmo sees Nehmat hiding herself from Ekam and thinks that Nehmat must have eloped because of Ekam. Sartaj thinks of knowing more about Ekam. Sartaj talks with Ekam and Harleen. He learns that Ekam was present in the market during the shoutout. He asks if he has come here for his work. Ekam denies. Sartaj says that then they have come for their honeymoon. Nimmo questions Ekam and Harleen and understands that Nehmat was supposed to marry Ekam. Sartaj gets a mechanic to repair Ekam and Harleen’s car.
Harleen takes Nimmo’s leave. Nimmo decides to talk to Nehmat and tells her that they share an old relationship. Ekam and Harleen’s car isn’t ready yet. Sartaj thinks that Ekam and Nehmat are teamed up and wants to know what they’re upto. So he proposes to Ekam and Harleen to stay in his house.Harleen also gets excited and asks Ekam to agree. Nimmo asks Sartaj to take them to show them his field. Sartaj agrees and takes them along with him. Nehmat hears this. She grows anxious. She wonders how she will hide herself from Ekam. She curses Sartaj for creating this situation.
Nehmat decides to leave, so that Ekam doesn’t see her. Nimmo goes to Nehmat and asks her to share her pain with her. She says that she isn’t alone. She has a dear one with her. She hugs Nehmat and says that she is Tejo and Fateh’s daughter, which shocks Nehmat.
The episode ends.
