Indra tells Mandhata that he hasn’t defeated Lavanasura yet so Mandhata says that he will defeat him first and then fight Indra Devta. The latter warns him saying that he will regret this overconfidence.

On the other hand, Lavanasura laughs amused when he comes to know that Mandhata wants to defeat him and he is coming with his army for war. He says that nobody can defeat him until he has Shiv’s trident.

Later Lavanasura and Mandhata come face to face on the battle field and Mandhata gets shocked seeing that Lavanasura has come alone. Mandhata says that he will fight him alone since he has come alone. Lavanasura says that he doesn’t care as he can fight also ten thousand men. He gives five minutes to those who want to back off if they are scared of dying.

Mandhata shoots the arrow against Lavanasura but the trident protects him. Lavanasura laughs evilly. Mandhata shoots many arrows against him but in vain since the trident keeps protecting Lavanasura. The latter launches his trident towards Mandhata who gets hit and dies. Also his soldiers die.

The Rishi tells all this to Shatrugna and warns him about Lavanasura’s powers which are invincible. He suggests Shatrugna to block Lavanasura so that he cannot go to the palace to get his trident and also his army should reach the other side of the river without letting Shatrugna know that they are coming otherwise he won’t ever leave the palace without his trident.

Lavanasura enjoys the spectacle with dance and music going on in his palace. It’s about a lion that defeats a donkey but then gets defeated by a demon. Lavanasura gets very happy seeing it and laughs evilly.

At night, Shatrugna’s soldiers cross the river. On the other handLavanasura does the pooja of Shiv’s trident. Lavanasurasi about to go out to catch more Rishi Munye. His wife is scared since a rishi had cursed him yesterday and today she is feeling like something bad is going to happen. Lavanasura says that she shouldn’t be so weak being his queen and also affirms that Ravan used to say that they have to remove all Rishi munye from the Earth to make sure that demons reign.

When Lavanasura get out of Mathura, Shatrugna stops him shooting an arrow. Lavanasura’s soldiers are about to come to rescue but Shatrugna shoots arrow which makes a fire appear in front of them. Lavanasura asks him who he is. Shatrugna introduces himself and challenges him. Lavanasura accepts the challenge and asks him to wait as he will go to the palace to do Pooja. Shatrugna says that if he wants to pray to God before the battle he can do it on the battle field itself like warriors do. Lavanasura says that he wants to go to get his weapons. Shatrugna says that he already has his weapons with him and gives him the opportunity to attack first. Lavanasura is hesitant but accepts when Shatrugna calls him cowards.

Lavanasura shoots the first arrow butShatrugna is able to stop it with his arrow. They continue the battle and Shatrugna is able to stop all the attacks of Lavanasura. All the divinities are witnessing the war. Shatrugna’s arrows keep defeating Lavanasura’s attacks until he shoots an arrow which keeps shooting fire on Shatrugna. Lavanasura laughs evilly seeing Shatrugna in difficulty. Shatrugna takes out the powerful arrow given by Ram and shoots it that Lavanasura. The latter gets hit by it and dies.

Shiv gets back his trident. Lavanasura’s wife gets shocked when she comes to know about her husband’s death. She cries loudly. The flag of Ayodhya replaces Mathura’s one. Shatrugna is welcomed in Mathura grandly with dances and music. All the Sadhu who were imprisoned are released. Mathura people are really happy.

When Shatrugna meets Lavansura’s wife, he tells her that she should not be scared of him and his soldiers and also that they are free. He asks her where Shiv’s trident is. Lavansura’s wife tells him that the trident disappeared in the sky in front of her eyes. Shatrugna says that he wants to see the place where the trident was placed. Lavanasura’s wife shows it to him and he bows down in front of it.

Later Shatrugna sits on the throne of Mathura while as he has officialy become the King. A Sadhu tells him that Mathura people are happy and grateful to him since Lavanasura just gave them pain while with a Suryavanshireigning on Mathura they are hopeful that they will be able to practice their religion freely. He makes Shatrugna wear the crown.

Valmiki tells Sita that Shatrugna won the war. Also Lakshman reads a letter from Shatrugna saying that he won the war to Ram. The latter says that they should celebrate Shatrugna’s victory by lighting up lots of diya in Ayodhya. Later Lakshman sees the celebrations and says that Shatrugna was Sita’s dearest and she would have been so happy knowing about his victory. Ram says that she surely mut have come to know about this.

Valmiki is playing with Luv and Kush. He asks two girls to take the babies to Van Devi since they are sleepy now. The girls take them away. Valmiki tells his disciple that it seems like he is getting trapped in the love of these two babies but maybe this is what God wants.

The girls bring Luv and Kush to Sita who makes them lie near her so that they gets sleepy before putting them in the baby cot otherwise they would put fingers into each other’s eyes and then cry. The girl says that Luv is very naughty while Kush seems patient. Sita says that this is how an elder brother has to be. When Sita is left alone with Luv and Kush, she sings lullaby for the babies. She puts them in the cot and makes them sleep.

The next morning Ram’s informer tells him that many Rishi Muni are gathering to meet a Maha Muni Aghast who is completing his 12 years tapassaya. Ram says that he would like to go to meet him too and consults Gurudev if he shall go there or not. Gurudev says that he shall go there for sure.

In the evening, Maha Muni Aghast comes out of the water of the river in which he did tapassaya for 12 years and Rishi Muni and Devta come to welcome him.
