Dreams that begin in childhood often fade with time — but not for Veeir Chaudary. For him, the idea of becoming an actor was born in school, and it only grew stronger with each passing year.
“School ke time se hi mujhe actor banna tha… us waqt main filmon ke heroes ki mimicry karke sabko entertain karta tha,” Chaudary fondly recalls.
By 2009, he realized passion alone wasn’t enough. “Talent ko polish karna zaroori hai, isiliye maine acting training li aur NSD ke alag–alag directors ke saath workshops ki,” he says. This training gave him the discipline and depth to dream bigger.
In 2011, he moved to Mumbai, the city of dreams. But unlike others, his story took a different turn. Between 2009 and 2011, he gave “endless auditions” — until one day he decided never again. “Mujhe auditions kabhi pasand nahi aaye… uske baad maine zindagi mein ek bhi audition nahi diya. Main apna raasta khud banata hoon,” he states firmly.
And that philosophy shaped his career. After working in strong character roles, Chaudary took a bold leap — starting his own production house. Under its banner, he not only produced films, web series, and songs, but also acted in projects that he personally believed in.
“Mere liye sabse badi jeet yeh hai ki main khud apne projects banata hoon aur unhi mein act karta hoon jisme mera dil lagta hai.”
One such milestone was Hotel Honeymoon Deluxe, a suspense-thriller film that premiered on his self-launched OTT platform Nootankii. Yet, Chaudary insists this was just a glimpse. “Hotel Honeymoon Deluxe toh bas ek trailer tha… asli picture abhi baaki hai mere dost!” he laughs.
Today, he is producing a lineup of bold and experimental films and web shows for Nootankii OTT. With eyes set firmly on the future, Chaudary is building not just a career, but an entire universe of stories.
“From school-time mimicry to running my own OTT… this journey has been magical. And trust me, the best is yet to come.”
