Vineet Kumar Singh, known for his intense and nuanced performances, is basking in the success of his latest film ‘Ghuspaithiya’, which featured him as a police officer working in the cybercrime unit. The story of the film revolves around how his personal life takes an unexpected turn when his social-media-obsessed wife becomes a victim of cyberstalking. While talking about the role, Singh spoke about challenges he faced that pushed him to explore new dimensions of his craft.
“‘Ghuspaithiya’ was not just another project for me; it helped me dive deep into my craft and push my boundaries to perform the role, which was quite demanding, especially emotionally. In a lot of sequences, I didn’t have a co-actor.
I was reacting as per the conversations I was listening to through the earphones. So, the challenge was to make the audience feel and believe what I was going through via my facial expressions. It wasn’t easy, but it was incredibly rewarding,” he said.
“My role was about getting into the skin of someone whose life is so far removed from my own. Every scene was a test of my ability to stay authentic to the character while also bringing my own interpretation to the table. This film has left an indelible mark on me, and I am glad to see that our collective effort is being recognised and praised by the audiences,” the actor shared and added, “Grateful to critics and my audiences for always showering me with love for every role I’ve taken on.”
Singh also praised the film’s director and crew for their unwavering support and vision, which helped him navigate the intricate layers of his role. As ‘Ghuspaithiya’ garners attention and acclaim, Vineet Kumar Singh’s portrayal stands out as a testament to his dedication and growth as an actor.
The actor, who rose to fame with Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Mukkabaaz’, has couple of interesting projects to his credit. He will be seen in ‘Chhaava’, ‘Aadhaar’, ‘Rangeen’ and ‘Superboys of Malegaon’.
