Vineet Kumar Singh starrer ‘Superboys of Malegaon’ is making waves at the 49th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film made a thunderous debut at the film festival and received a more than two-minute-long standing ovation from the audience. It also received a raving response and applause from the viewers. Vineet Kumar Singh, who was present at the film’s premiere, was visibly overwhelmed by the heartwarming response.
The world premiere was a star-studded event, featuring the film’s cast and crew, including Adarsh Gourav, Shashank Arora, and Vineet Kumar Singh, alongside producers Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Ritesh Sidhwani. Beyond its premiere at TIFF, ‘Superboys of Malegaon’ is now gearing up for its next premiere at the prestigious BFI London Film Festival on October 10, 2024. The film, which stars Adarsh Gourav in a pivotal role, revolves around a filmmaker who turns to cinema to escape the monotony of everyday life. ‘Superboys of Malegaon’, directed by Reema Kagti, is slated to knock on the Indian theatres in January 2025.
Vineet Kumar Singh, who was last seen in ‘Ghuspaithiya’, is also looking forward to the multilingual pan-India film ‘SDGM’, alongside Sunny Deol. Apart from these projects, Singh also has ‘Aadhaar’ and ‘Rangeen’ in the pipeline.
