By Anil Merani: Zayn Ibad Khan is one of today’s more successful TV and OTT actors. After impressing everyone with Aashiqana 2, he has a tube and web show on the anvil. First up is Suhagan Chudail on Colors, an online( Disney Hotstar) show, Gunaah with Gashmeer Mahajani and Surbhi Jyoti.
Zayn first earned name and fame with Ishq Mein Marjawana 2.
All the above projects are as different as chalk and cheese, showing his versatility as an actor. Usually, actors get typecast in one genre, but not him. Zayn is quite brilliant in choosing the kind of project that comes his way. He is not randomly taking any project on offer.
Suhagan Chudail will be Zayn’s debut in the fantasy space; also, sharing screen space with tv hottie Nia Sharma will raise his graph in the TV space.
Their onscreen chemistry will sizzle, taking the show’s TRP to new heights. Sughan Chudail is a massive project for Colors, and they will leave no stone unturned to promote it, which is the need of the hour.
Zayn’s talent will help raise the graph as a solid male lead, which is very significant. Some actors have faltered in this regard recently.
Coming to OTT, Gunaah with Gashmeer and Surbhi is as big as it gets. Both the above artists have an established niche, and with Zayn adding his talent, it will be a well-cooked dish. All three look very good on screen; it’s just what the doctor ordered.
We hope Zayn will enter Bollywood soon, for he has the required attributes.
