By Gossips Tv : The Week 17 TRP ratings have arrived, and the Indian Premier League (IPL) has clearly left its mark on the television landscape. While several shows saw a dip in viewership, a few managed to not only maintain but also improve their positions, keeping the drama alive for Indian households.
Leading the chart this week is Udne Ki Aasha, which has claimed the top spot. Anupama continues its strong hold at number two, while Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai makes a powerful comeback at number three, also reclaiming its slot leadership.
Jaadu Teri Nazar secured the fourth position, with Lakshmi Ka Safar slipping to fifth. Mangal Lakshmi dropped to sixth, followed by Advocate Anjali Awashthi at seventh. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, a staple of Indian comedy, remains strong at number eight. Jhanak and Laughter Chefs rounded out the top ten.
Vasudha holds the 11th spot with a minor dip, while Jaane Anjane Hum Mile ranked 12th. Mannat fell to 13th, and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin to 14th. Shiv Shakti witnessed a significant drop, landing at 15th.
The bottom five include Jaagriti (16), Ram Bhavan (17), Kumkum Bhagya (18), Parineetii (19), and Bhagya Lakshmi (20).
Despite IPL’s dominance, Indian TV serials continue to engage viewers, with shifting loyalties and compelling storylines keeping the competition fierce. Will these trends continue? Week 18 will tell.
