The discussion is in a nascent stage, and there is no clarity on whether the original cast of Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Avinesh Rekhi would return as leads or it might be a new story with a fresh pairing. The show took a 16-year leap in 2021, with the mantle passing to Mahir Pandhi and Amandeep Sidhu, but the possibility of the original cast’s return is a tantalizing prospect for fans.
Regardless of the final outcome, the return of Choti Sarrdaarni 2 could be a significant win for Colors TV. With their recent fiction shows not gaining much traction, the potential return of Choti Sarrdaarni could be a game-changer, potentially boosting their viewership. There are even rumors that they might pause their Naagin workhorse, seeing lesser returns.
Having a top-notch production house like Cockcrow and Shaika Entertainment execute it only raises the potential for another successful sequel.
