Actress Won Ji An who impressed the audience through her recent role as Se Mi in “Squid Game 2” might be pairing up with Park Seo Joon in a new drama!
On January 3, a media outlet reported that actress Won Ji An who is known for her roles in “D.P” and “Heartbeat” is in talks to star in the upcoming drama “Waiting for Gyeongdo”.
In response to the report, Won Ji An’s agency Hiin Entertainment shared that the actress has received the offer to star in the new drama ‘Waiting for Gyeongdo’ and is currently reviewing the same.
“Waiting for Gyeongdo” is an upcoming rom-com drama about ex lovers Lee Gyeong Do and Seo Ji Woo, who first met and fell in love with each other at the age of twenty. Due to unforeseen circumstances their paths cross again, unfolding series of events filled with romance and humor.
The drama will be helmed by Lim Hyun Wook, who is known for his popular dramas namely “King the Land,” “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” and “Life” and penned by Yoo Young Ah, known for the dramas “Thirty-Nine,” “Divorce Attorney Shin,” and more. Previously in July, actor Park Seo Joon was reported to be in talks to play the male lead character Lee Gyeong Do.
“Waiting for Gyeongdo” is set to begin production once casting is finalized and is currently in discussions to air on JTBC. Stay tuned for more updates!
