A ward boy comes and tells Dev that he is not allowed to stay in the library. Dev asks if Sunny told him. Dev agrees and leaves.
Dev notices Bakul talking to a woman. Bakul tells the woman that she should not be there and asks her to leave. Dev overhears their conversation and suspects that Bakul is cheating on his wife.
Ananya enters Bakul’s room. Bakul tells Ananya that he wants to leave the hospital. He suddenly vomits blood and collapses on the floor. Dev helps him back onto the bed and then leaves.
Dev goes to Vani and tells her that Bakul is hiding something and suspects that he is cheating on his wife. He also suggests that Bakul’s illness might be related to an extramarital affair. Dev says they need to find out, and Vani agrees.
Dev confronts Bakul about the alleged affair and asks if he is cheating on his wife. Bakul admits that he is, but explains that he lost his job three months ago and has not told his wife. Dev encourages Bakul to tell the truth to his wife.
