In today’s episode, Abhira waits for Arman while Myra plays with her. Abhira continues to wait anxiously until Arman asks her to bring his files. Abhira meets Arman and questions why he is working from Shrishyam Mittal’s office. Arman explains that he has taken up Meher Mittal’s case. Abhira asks why he accepted the case in their very first meeting. Arman confidently says that Meher did not commit murder and explains that it was a case of self-defence. He asks Abhira to trust him, and she does. Abhira hands over Akshara’s savings to Arman, insisting that he take the money as she wants to reduce his stress and contribute in any way she can. Arman assures her that he will soon get the firm back.
Abhira invites Arman to join the Christmas party, but he refuses, saying he has a lot of work. Myra waits for both Abhira and Arman. To bring a smile to Myra’s face, Abhira dresses up as Santa Claus. When Myra asks about Arman, Abhira explains that just like they miss Kaveri’s smile, Arman is working hard to bring it back, which is why he could not come for Christmas. Myra understands, and Abhira celebrates Christmas with the Poddar family.
Vidya opens her gift, and Kaveri is shocked to see the nameplate of Poddar Associates breaking. Abhira saves the plate and consoles Kaveri. Kajal appears restless, and when Abhira asks her if she is worried about Krish, Kajal says she does not know about him but feels relieved that he did not attend the party. Tanya asks Sanjay if he has spoken to Krish. Sanjay says he will contact him as he wants to reconnect and bring him back, while Tanya continues to worry.
Elsewhere, Krish claims his family disowned him because he sold the firm without their permission. Drunk and disturbed, he meets the same goons who had troubled Abhira earlier. The goons manipulate Krish and ask how he plans to arrange money for more drinks. They suggest a bet—if Arman loses Meher’s case, they will give Krish fifty lakhs. If Arman wins, Krish must bring Abhira to them. When Krish asks the reason, the goons say Abhira had slapped them. In his intoxicated state, Krish assumes the goons only want to apologise to Abhira and agrees to the deal. Unbeknownst to him, someone records the entire conversation.
Back at the Poddar house, Abhira insists that Kaveri cut the cake and reassures her that Arman will soon reclaim the firm. Though tense, the Poddar family celebrates Christmas. Later, Abhira meets Arman and feeds him cake and coffee. Arman asks her to return home as he will be late due to his new case. Abhira mentions her upcoming hearing, but Arman asks her not to take up any new cases and instead manage the family. He says he is able to focus only because Abhira is holding everything together. Arman further tells Abhira that until he wins back the Poddar firm, she should not work. Abhira is left stunned.
