Episode starts with Kairav is asking Naira when will they can go back to his house? Naira says there is no fun in meeting someone again and again. Meeting people in a gap of time can help in being together with each other. Kartik and his father and Samarth went to the office of Damini Mishra who is already did her study regarding the custody case of Kairav and Naira tells Kartik she is on to it. She says during her fight for the case, no one will ask her any questions regarding who what when why as she always decide everything about her case alone. Kartik says this case is about my ex-wife Naira so take care of it. Damini says you said this today in front of me but don’t say this in front of anybody else. Kartik is not much sure about her being the lawyer with a fair proceedings but Manish said to Damini madam that they are only interested in keeping their grandson with them and rest what all she will do is not at all their interest. After some time, Manish, Kartik and Samarth go out of the office while Damini asks for family members details to have a talk with them for reference in the case. Naksh who is also waiting to meet Damini gets shocked to see Kartik is coming out of her office. Damini taunts Naksh for coming late as she had committed to Goenkas already. Naksh says it is absolutely fine to find a second best lawyer as the court case from their side is very strong and court will never allow a kid to stay away from his mother. Naksh left from there while Damini assures the Goenka family not to freak out as Naksh has no idea about what can a court do?
Naksh comes home after appointing a lawyer from the Delhi High Court and informs the same to Naira whereas Naira asks what happened to Damini mam as she is the best. Naksh says she is handling the case of Kartik. Naira thinks she may have some time to cope up with all these as court case will take time to get roll but soon she receives a call from Kartik informing her the date and time for the court case. Naira requests him for the last time but he doesn’t listen to her plea and says let’s face each other in the court. Naira informs her family members that they got a date and time for tomorrow morning and the housemates get worried for the same.
Kartik gets a message from Damini regarding his supposed to be spontaneous verdict in a form of speech. Kartik says I know what I have to day but Damini says say whatever I am asking you to speak in court as I am more experienced with court proceedings than you ever can be. Naira’s lawyer warned her that Damini mam can do anything to win the case and she will try to manipulate things. Naira says Kartik will not entertain her unlikely demands. The lawyer said sometimes the obsession of getting something make a person do many things they thought they won’t do ever. Naira is confused while Kartik finds it difficult to even practice the speech that lawyer sent to him and thinks how come I say such things about her? Vedika watches all this and somewhere feels guilty for all the mess that is happening.
