Maitree’s story seems to similar like current revamped show Parineetii (Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli).
Two best friends falling in love with the same guy is an old concept. The triangle love stories are daily soaps current obsession. Adding more to the list of shows Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Parineetii, Udaariyaan, Imlie, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to more; Maitree is all set to join the club.
