By Smita Pal| Sandiip Sikcand is known for shows like Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali, and Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai, and Ghar Ek Mandir is having two new shows in the pipeline, one of which stars Amandeep Sidhu, Sai Ketan Rao, and Srishti Singh, and the other show will star Namik Paul and Tanisha Mehta.
Earlier, the source revealed that they had locked Reyaansh Vir Chaddha in for the lead. However, they went ahead with Namik Paul. The show’s creators and channel thought he was a perfect fit for the character.
Namik has previously acted in Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, Ek Deewana Tha, Qubool Hai, and Kawach and Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2. Namik was earlier shortlisted for Meri Saas Bhoot Hai as well, but he later chose to opt out of the show.
Tanisha Mehta who has previousy acted in Shubh Laabh – Aapkey Ghar Mein as Shreya Maheshwari Toshniwal has been roped in to play the lead opposite Namik in the new show produced by Sadiip Sikcand.
