The episode starts with Jyoti returning to Deepa after coming home from school. Deepa asks Jyoti why her clothes are dirty and whether she has fallen. Jyoti tells Deepa that she played football and that her teacher said she is going to make her the football team captain.
Jyoti later asks Deepa why they haven’t come to watch her match. Kanika comes to Deepa and says that she also wants to know the reason, as their journey to the village takes only two hours. Kanika asks Deepa why they have taken so much time to come to Hyderabad. Deepa sends Jyoti away.
Kanika questions Deepa about what they were doing inside that house. She tells Deepa that she acted really well in court to prove her innocence, but she knows the truth. Kanika accuses Deepa of stealing Karthik from her. Deepa asks Kanika why she thinks that she is trying to steal Karthik from her. Kanika says it is because she loves Karthik. Deepa tells Kanika that she also needs to trust Karthik. Kanika replies that she trusts Karthik but does not trust Deepa. Deepa says she does not care what Kanika thinks of her and that her world starts and ends with her daughter. Kanika comments on Deepa’s daughter. Deepa warns Kanika not to say a word against her daughter and leaves from there.
Karthik comes to Kanika. Kanika asks him when he arrived. Karthik says he just came. He tells Kanika that he will talk to Jyoti and leaves.
Deepa tells Sonali over the phone that she cannot bring Jyoti to court and asks her to understand her situation. Karthik comes to Deepa’s house and talks to Jyoti. Jyoti tells Karthik that she played football today and scored four goals. Karthik praises her and then sends her away.
Deepa tells Karthik that Sonali wants her to bring Jyoti to court, but she refused. Karthik says he understands her situation and that she is doing the right thing. Deepa tells Karthik that Kanika is waiting for him and that he should leave. Karthik leaves. Deepa apologizes, saying that he always helps her but she cannot even thank him properly.
Bhanu and Shobha praise Jaikanth for turning the case entirely in their favor. Vijayanti tells Shobha that the food is ready and asks her to bring it to the dining table. Shobha replies that if Vijayanti can cook the food, she can also serve it. Vijayanti brings the food to the table.
Shobha tells Vijayanti not to tell anyone in court that Bhanu and Shobha are husband and wife. Vijayanti asks Bhanu if it is necessary to defame Deepa to get custody of Jyoti. Shobha tells Bhanu that Vijayanti might speak in Deepa’s favor because she sympathizes with her. Bhanu asks Shobha not to worry and says that no matter what, Vijayanti is his mother, so she will speak in their favor.
After eating, Shobha scolds Vijayanti, asking if she doesn’t know how to cook properly. Vijayanti goes into the kitchen.
Shobha thinks that she will throw Vijayanti out of the house once Jyoti comes to live with them. Vijayanti realizes Deepa’s kindness after experiencing Shobha’s mistreatment.
The priest tells Bhagyasree that they have done a great thing by fixing Karthik and Kanika’s engagement date on Maha Shivaratri. Karthik’s family and the Kothari family are happy about it. Deepa brings sweets for everyone.
Kailashnath performs aarti for Kanika and Karthik and blesses them. Karthik goes into the garden. Deepa notices that he looks disturbed and follows him.
Deepa asks Karthik if he does not want to go through with the marriage. Karthik asks why she is saying that. Deepa tells him that whenever Kanika wants to spend time with him, he seems distant, and she can see that he looks disturbed today as well. She suggests that he tell his family if he does not want to marry Kanika. Deepa adds that if he does not marry Kanika, everyone will think it is because of her, since her name has been linked with his. Karthik says he will not allow her name to be tarnished. Deepa comments on this and leaves. Karthik decides to follow her advice and tell his family that he does not want to marry Kanika.
The episode ends.
Precap: Karthik brings Jyoti to court. Deepa asks him why he brought her and says that if Jyoti is present, she will find out that Bhanu is her father. Karthik tells Deepa that they have no other option. Deepa refuses to listen and asks him to take Jyoti away.
