Bhanu, Shobha, and Vijayanti stop Deepa on the road. Bhanu taunts Deepa, asking if she thought she would win the case in court, saying she is mistaken. He reminds her that he had already told her to give Jyoti to him and leave far away. He says that now she will lose both Jyoti and her reputation. Deepa throws her slipper at Bhanu’s face. Bhanu gets angry and decides to kill her. Vijayanti stops him and says that if he does anything wrong now, Deepa will win the case. She asks Bhanu to leave.
Deepa comments on Vijayanti and tells her that she is not worthy of being called a woman, as she did not even blink when Bhanu lied about her. Deepa warns Vijayanti that Bhanu will leave her when she is no longer of use to him. She says that only then will Vijayanti realize the truth.
