Meanwhile, Madhumati and her husband go to Pune and learn that Sumati is fine. They realize that Rishabh may have tricked them into leaving home. They immediately head back. Madhumati apologizes to Pushpa for Rishabh’s behavior and says she has failed as a mother. Pushpa assures her that because they replaced the poison with baking soda, Rashi’s life was saved. She firmly states that she wants Rashi to get divorced. The police arrive and arrest Rishabh.
Later at home, Pushpa advises Rashi to forget Rishabh and move on with her life. Rashi admits that Pushpa’s instincts were always right and that she made a mistake by not listening to her. She says she wants to go away for a few days. Pushpa asks if she would like to go to Pune to stay with Master Ji. Rashi agrees, and Pushpa informs Master Ji.
After two days, Pushpa tells the court that Rishabh’s mental condition is unstable and that he attempted to kill his wife, so he should not be granted bail. The judge orders that Rishabh remain in jail under medical observation until he recovers and rejects his bail plea.
