Imlie 1st February 2021 Written Update on TellyExpress.com
Episode begins with Malini getting ready for going to college and packing her tiffin for going to college to resume her job. She says to them that the exams are nearing and she needs to submit the answers and question papers for the students. However the kids of the house are asking Malini why she is going to college today? She says I have taken a lot of holidays already so now I can not take any more holidays. However, the kids start to naggin in front of her to take leave for today and she finally agrees not to go there and stays back in the house.
Aditya calls Malini and informs that his story based on Pagdandiya and Satyakam got an award from the National Press Council and Malini gets super excited to know this and she congratulates Aditya for finally being able to fulfill his desires and dreams. She asks him to come home soon once he is done with his office work.
She cuts the call and decides to give him surprise and she also informs the house members that Aditya got a great award for journalism for his works and everyone gets happy and excited to know this. She says today she will cook food for him and will arrange a surprise and all starts to pull her leg in the kitchen including Aparna. She gets shy but Imlie comes and asks them why are you all bothering Malini so much? Now since Aditya got such a huge prize for his work then it is obvious that Malini will be excited for this.
On the other hand, Aditys receives the award from his editor in front of his colleagues and all and his editor is doing so much of appreciation of him. He takes the award in hand and says thanks to the editor and others are asking him to say something on this occasion and let them know about his thought process.
He says that he wants to thank his editor and his workplace people along with his family members but a special thanks to his wife Malini because she never taunts him for cancelling their honeymoon trip due to his job profile. Editor laughs and asks how many times you will make me say sorry for this and Aditya smiles. He is getting impatient to meet Malini and show her his award.
Malini on the other hand arranged a lot of things for Aditya from decorations to food and cakes. Everyone in the family praises Malini for her tireless efforts and the outcome. They all are waiting for Aditya to come back home while Imlie watches all from outside and she recalls Aditya asks her never to enter his room and not to forget her place in the house.
She makes an excuse and goes from there and thinks everyone is ready with something to give Aditya a gift but she has no money left with her so what can she do in this state? She then decided that she will go and arrange something but will give it to Aditya in person so that she doesn’t need to enter his room and her gift will reach him as well.
Aditya comes back home and hides to give him surprise while Imlie is in her room. He comes inside and asks Sundar about Malini and he says he will come to know about it soon. He receives a call from Meethi asking about Imlie and he says I will make you talk with her and goes to her room and Imlie talks to Meethi who tells him about a fasting over the call and she somehow manages her mother. She gives Aditya a one rupee coin as a sign of “Shagun” because that is the only valuable thing she has with herself.
Aditya gets overwhelmed and gives his award to her to see. Imlie gets excited and happy while Malini gets upset to see all these and as she wants to lift the award for the first time.
Aditya goes to Malini and explains to her what happened and says that he knows if anyone understands his job then it is only her and Malini becomes okay post knowing what exactly happened in between. Imlie also asks for sorry from her and she says that she is no more angry and goes downstairs after giving a silver coin as a part of shagun to Aditya. He keeps both the coins with him thinking he has to manage it somehow.
Precap – Imlie tries to fulfill her fast by eating from the plate of Malini and Aditya to fulfill the ritual but Aditya somehow notices it and asks her what she is upto?
