The episode starts with Bondita asking Binoy and Sampoorna to find the ring in the water with petals. Devoleena says that it is important because whoever gets the ring will reign in the mansion. Anirudh cheers for Binoy while Bondita wants Sampoorna to win. Sampoorna gets the ring. Bondita says that Sampoorna will reign in the mansion now. Trilochan says that she has come to do that only.
Devoleena asks Sampoorna to take blessings from Trilochan who is the eldest of the house. Trilochan knows that there is something fishy. Sampoorna is planning to get the keys from Trilochan: she thinks that she will touch his feets today but then he will make him fall on her feet. She gets up going towards Trilochan. She recalls him saying that she will marry Bihari. Bondita whispers to her to touch Trilochan’s feet. Sampoorna does that. Bondita asks Trilochan to give her blessings. Trilochan touches Sampoorna’s head.
Sampoorna recomposes and then says that there was no elder daughter-in-law in the house for many years so he had to take up all responsibilities of the mansion. She asks Trilochan to give her all those responsibilities that he had given to Shubra. She asks him not to think much since Anirudh has already given her Shubra’s place. Trilochan understands that she wants the keys. Sampoorna thinks that Trilochan won’t be able to deny in front of all these guests. Trilochan says that she will get what she deserves. He affirms that it’s time for the daughter-in-law of the house to take up all responsibilities therefore she will handle all kitchen matters and other responsibilities. He gives her the safe keys as well. Bondita claps happily.
Trilochan says that he believes she is going to give Bondita, her daughter-in-law, blessings in exchange of the respect she has given her. Sampoorna says that everything that is hers belongs to Bondita as well. Trilochan tells her that its their tradition that the mother-in-law hands over all responsibilities along with the keys to the daughter-in-law. Sampoorna, Sundaram and Devoleena get shocked. Trilochan says that she only wanted to follow Shubra’s steps so she should give keys to her daughter-in-law. He says that he is happy that everyone will witness the mother-in-law giving the keys as blessing to her daughter-in-law. He praises Bondita and then asks everyone to clap. Everyone claps. Sundaram and Devoleena are frustrated. Devoleena thinks that Trilochan is so clever and easily turned all the tables.
Trilochan asks Bondita to touch her mother-in-law’s feet and not to leave them until she doesn’t get the keys. Bondita holds Sampoorna’s feet and says that she won’t leave them until she doesn’t get the keys. She adds that Bondita does whatever she decides to do. Trilochan insists for Sampoorna to give the keys. People gossip about how Sampoorna is hesitant to give the keys to Bondita. Sampoorna makes Bondita get up and puts the keys on her hand. Bondita says that she will keep the keys tied to her pallu taking them as her blessing. She promises not to ever let the keys separate from her. Everyone claps.
Sampoorna walks towards Devoleena and hugs her. Devoleena whispers that Trilochan has made her a beggar again since she still has to work under Bondita. She says that Bondita is the biggest thorn on her way. Sampoorna says that there is no mistake of Bondita there since Trilochan did all this. Devoleena says that her competition is with Bondita whom she has to remove from the throne. They look at Anirudh tying the keys to Bondita’s pallu.
At night, Bondita talks to Mata Rani saying that her mother will be so happy to learn that Sampoorna has become her mother-in-law. She is happy because Sampoorna will stay with her always. She is thankful to Mata Rani. Trilochan overhears her and says that Bondita’s heart is like golden so she thinks her sister is like her as well but she is wrong because Sampoorna is darker than carbon and has become clever. He decides to warn Bondita.
Trilochan goes to Bondita and asks her if she knows what the keys are. Bondita replies that they are keys of safe. Trilochan tells her that in the safe there is their respect and that’s more precious than money and all for them. He trusts Bondita that she will fulfil her responsibility whole heartedly. He warns her that keys are not toys to be distributed to others. Bondita asks why he gave her keys then. Trilochan replies that she earned them. Bondita says that she won’t give them to anyone. Sampoorna overhears them.
