The episode starts with Rishi asking Lakhsmi about her stomach pain. Lakshmi says to Rishi she doesn’t have stomach pain and says rats are running in her stomach.
All of the Oberoi family come to the terrace. Harleen asks Rishi what is Lakshmi doing here. Rishi says Lakshmi is doing Karwa Chauth Vrath for him as Malishka came and spoke in front of Lakshmi about Karwa Chauth so Lakshmi is doing Karwa Chauth Vrath for him. Karishma praises Malishka as she is able to make Lakshmi do Karwa Chauth Vrath even with mad Lakshmi.
Harleen asks everyone to sit down as the moon hasn’t come out. Lakshmi’s sisters see Lakshmi doing Karwa Chauth for Rishi thinks no matter what is Lakshmi’s condition she can never forget her love for Rishi. Ayush also agrees.
The moon comes out after awhile. Rishi shows the moon to Lakshmi. Lakhsmi feels elated as she can eat food now. Rishi sees Neelam has lit Diya.
Abhay asks Kiran not to worry and says Malishka’s good time will come soon as Lakshmi has gone mad. Sonal also asks Kiran not to worry about Malishka.
Neelam gives Aarthi to Virendra. Rishi makes Lakshmi not see the Diya but Lakshmi comes from behind Rishi and sees the fire of Diya. Lakshmi gets scared and runs around. Rishi goes after Lakshmi. Virendra blows away the Diya. Neelam asks Virendra why did he do this. Virendra apologises and says Lakshmi is afraid of fire. Neelam later completes the ritual and breaks her fast.
Rishi later calms down Lakshmi and makes her do the Karwa Chauth ritual. Malishka couldn’t believe seeing Lakshmi do the Karwa Chauth ritual. Malishka asks Karishma what is happening. Karishma gives the credit of Lakshmi doing Karwa Chauth ritual to Malishka as she explained to Lakshmi about Karwa Chauth.
Rishi says to Lakshmi that now she can eat food. Ayush goes and brings food for Lakshmi. Rishi tries to introduce Shalu and Bani to Lakshmi saying they are her sisters. But Lakshmi says they are not her sisters and argues with Rishi. Rishi sends them away.
Rishi takes the food from Ayush and asks Lakshmi to eat it. Lakshmi says to Rishi that she would like to eat like them showing Neelam and Virendra.
Rishi feeds Lakshmi food. Lakhsmi also feeds Rishi. Malishka seeing this burns in jealousy and leaves from there. Shalu tells Ayush that she is sure that Lakshmi will become normal in Rishi’s love. Ayush agrees and asks Shalu to break his fast.
Malishka enters her room. Sonal calls Malishka. Malishka tells Sonal how her plan backfired on her. Sonal advises Malishka to not lose the second chance she has. Malishka agrees. Ayush comes there. He confronts Malishka why she made Lakshmi fast for Rishi. Malishka tries to cover up the situation saying she is worried for Rishi. Ayush says they will take care of Rishi and asks Malishka to not come to their house. Malishka looks on.
Rishi takes Lakshmi to their room. Lakshmi tells him he fed her so much and she is feeling heavy. Rishi asks her to sleep. Lakshmi asks what’s his name. Rishi tells his name. Lakshmi says it’s not good and suggests some nicknames.
